Question abut Vectors, and what keep in mind. (Help)

I have just got into vectoring in photoshop. And just learn how use pen tool. However do wonder if there any thing need to keep in mind while vectoring, Like thinks to do, and things to not do. If you have any adivce to give, it would be much appricated.

there are no vectors in photoshop, the pen tool creates lines that are still pixel-based, meaning that the main point of using vectors(freely moving/ transforming the vector, which is used mostly for animation) cannot be done there. obviously, you can still use the free transform tool, but your pixels could get damaged in the process.

 

vector- based programs like flash or illustrator is what you want to use for that.

Okay well just photoshop last time when made vector, but see your point, i did have export it over illustrator after was done with art work in order save as vector. So should just plain use illustrator, our is there any good reasone stick with photoshop at all?
