InvertedApostrophe 57 August 6, 2018 Share August 6, 2018 (edited) I vaguely recall my DT teacher exclaiming, "bugger!" when he burned his hand on a soldering iron when I was in year seven. Edited August 6, 2018 by InvertedApostrophe
TBD 17,259 August 7, 2018 Share August 7, 2018 (edited) Teachers no, but my high school principal would swear at us whenever we get in trouble. (Ah good time). But once you're in college most professors doesn't give a damn really. Dreambiscuit 10,317 August 23, 2018 Share August 23, 2018 In had a 6th grade teacher who read to the class from time to time and she didn't censor the stuff she was reading, which occasionally had minor words like b*tch. She was a super sweet teacher and would never use such language on her own, so it was all the more funny when we heard her read some of that stuff aloud. Vicky 2,217 November 4, 2018 Share November 4, 2018 I've seen many of my teachers in the past either intentionally or accidentally swear during class. But I remembered the funniest one was back in 3rd grade when our language arts substitute teacher said "stupid" and all the kids were looking shocked. But any little kid will get over that word being no big deal once they get older. -She/Her -Big nerd lol -Bacon for life

Earl Grey Ghost 446 November 20, 2018 Share November 20, 2018 Oh heck yes, one of my math teachers in college had no intentions of hiding his emotions or frustration. He never cussed AT us, but we could talk to him like we would someone we have known for a while, and if we wanted to complain about something, or say how hard something was, we could say, "I just don't get this question, it's f*cking stupid." and he would be like, "alright, well, let's see if we can figure the damn thing out." Or he'd be talking and tell us a story about an interaction with a past student or one of his coworkers and say "they were a real jack*ss/dumb*ss... I mean how do you...even f*cking do that sh*t? Unbelievable..." He was pretty laid back and it made his class easier and him more personable. We didn't feel that there was this overbearing wall between teacher and student that causes anxiety or worry. We respected him because he was willing to treat us like adults and understand that sometimes when we get frustrated, we cuss.
