I understand disliking them, but saying they should be eradicated is "a bit" too much. Humanity already eradicated some "worthless" creatures and I can't see how it helped anyone to develop. Though personally I hate them, they just seem to fly around my personal space, and once, just once, a moth got too close to my computer air intake fans ... I think you can figure out what happened next. Other than that though I don't really mind them, certainly interesting creatures to say the least. This hand actually belongs to a close friend of mine. These were taken on a scout campout, many a year ago. I think moths are interesting. The big ones with cool patterns are really neat. And the ones that get really colorful are amazing. However, in my city we have an annual moth migration. For about one month every spring, we're plagued by moths. Some years it's fairly light. Two years ago it was it was a plague of biblical proportion. When I have to deal with that many of them in the house, I f*ckin hate them. And these ones aren't colorful, majestic moths. They're not cute or cool looking. They're just pests. I refer to that time of year as the Mothman Prophecies. But I really like the big, fancy ones. Side note: hypothetically, if I ever had a giant, colorful moth as a pet (don't know how that would be possible) I'd name it Indrid Cold. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I remember seeing one in my front yard once, and I couldn't tell what it was. It was like a little moth, hummingbird fairy. But I knew I loved it the moment I saw it! 5 Me in a nutshell.
