Describe the Moment Where You've Openly Expressed Your Anger the Most

If there was one moment where you've openly expressed instead of hiding how enraged you are the most, when was it and describe what happened. Here's mine:

One time, past midnight, I was still awake and in a bad mood. I was mostly thinking about my social life, my past, the present, the future, and what should I learn/do next. Then another thought emerged. This one involved an idea of doing something harsh to my 3rd to 5th grade yearbooks because I felt that apart from the field trips and the one kid that invited me to its birthday parties, sometime around those years was the birth of my social problems with 5th grade making my Aspergers Syndrome very clear. First, I took out all 3 yearbooks and vandalized them by writing harsh statements in it with permanent marker and spitting on pages. And then I went to the family room and ripped pages and threw them to the walls with most of them hitting the brick ones. I ended up doing it again another day, but it wasn't as strong as the one before. To this day, I don't regret doing this because I felt that it was a good, harmless way of getting my anger out. It's better than physically fighting others anyway.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

When I was small boy I was once so mad that I swore I don't really remember what got me mad but I hit my mom too I was like 5 years old.  I've never done anything like that since.

Other story is that I once got mad at school because my 'friends' were lying and bullying me all the time and I hit him. Then I cried and ran away.

Other than that I have not gotten angry about anything I usually express my stress by crying not anger and I think it's better that way because people wont get hurt. =) *hugs*

I think the most aggressive time was when I was getting fed up of people putting things in my hood on my coat. It was my friends because they can be prats sometimes. Anyway I shouted at them in the middle of the quad and accused them of discriminating against me because I had a hood. I didn't realise until after I could take it off. I get angry a lot. It's my way of expression.

Only once, properly. I'm usually busy being far too chilled about things for my own good (Quoth: My own mother) to get angry.

It was when I was in year 8, I think. Blueshirts were years seven to nine, and I was one. It was the end of lunchtime, we were all on the field, and so, as the three years (about 600+ kids) wandered up to the gates at the top, the six or seven 'stoners' as they were known (thugs, most of them have been arrested at least once, various drugs-related offences, but that's all a story for another time) chose to pick on me.

I  was walking, minding my own business, meaning to catch up with my usual group in a moment, and one of them steps up and starts kicking my heels. I turn around, dismiss it as an accident, and walk on. Same one does it again, I ask him to stop, he laughs, mimics me, I walk on. He does it again, I ask him again, seriously, same answer. And then, for some reason, I snapped, whirled on him, threw him to the floor, and wailed on him. He was a lot bigger than me (one or two years) but I wasn't exactly scrawny, so we both got fairly beat. I was yelling at him the whole time, as I'm pretty sure he was...

And there were no repercussions, strangely. Seeing as looking at someone the wrong way got you detention normally.

Well, other than on my walk home, he walked up to me, punched me in the eye with this red ink stuff, and it burned like a bitch...

And that's it, some details omitted, for my sake. Never have I typed that incident out before.

Also, screw you Karma, you've never got my ass.

There was one time when my brother got mad at me for no reason. Let's just say I REALLY let out my anger. I was screaming to the topic of my lungs stuff I shouldn't say on here. I also chased, kicked, and puched him. This was way back when I was twelve. :P

When I was younger I use to have really bad anger problems, I got it under control so much better now. I once hit my keyboard so hard that two keys stopped working. I forget which ones though. I think T and U. I was around 10 or 11 years old.

My wife once suggested an open relationship. I was screaming at the top of my lungs for about an hour. I've never had any kind of history of anger issues, or anything. Calm, cool and collected, but that crossed the line.

There are multiple situations in the past where I have pulled knives on people (mostly family), needless to say I had some very very serious problems with anger that are thankfully behind me. I still have a temper but I am at least past the point of using violence though there was an incident almost a year ago where I came dangerously close to that point.

  • 1 month later...

I think for me, it was probably the time(s?) I slapped my dad (though I'm not exactly the strongest person around, to put it mildly :P), or any time I've let out my anger on him when he's lied to everyone or gone drinking and given bugger all to his family. I swear, he's the one person that can bring out the psycho in me...  -_-
