Tom 891 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 Interesting... it's quite sad how fundamentalists react to such innocent things such as colourful ponies. 1 I'd like to thank the MLP Vector Club for the images used in my avatar. Known as "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza", "Trixie the Great", "Tom" and "Tomzoid the EggDroid".
Warbalist 133 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 Everyone knows we're Satanic. I mean, it's really obvious. Colorful little ponies, the lessons of love and tolerance, and the "magic of friendship" and everything that comes with it are spawns of the devil. That being said, I would have been laughing so hard if I were in your hooves. Halfway through her rage, I probably would've said something like, "didn't you hear? Satanic worship is 20% cooler nowadays." and just walked off. I honestly can't believe something this ridiculous could ever actually ever happen in real life -- sorry you had to experience it! This picture made me laugh and shudder simultaneously. This is the only episode of South Park that went too far for me. http://www.youtube.com/user/warbalist
Gingerpotato 889 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 (edited) In the infamous, satanic words of Rainbow Dash "Its all true". Its completely obvious, men who like watching ponies and who wear shirts depicting their favourite T.V show are all Satanists. I mean, according to Fox we are worse then terrorism and I don't know about you but, in my opinion, Fox is the most true, witty and fantastic news station out there. We don't actually watch this little girls show for our own personal joy, we watch it to revel in Satan's glory. There is nothing more satanic then a pink party pony after all. But seriously, I laughed so hard at this story that I had a hard time keeping my water in my mouth. People like this who slander and blame communities that they don't have any idea about are the sorts of people that I feel sorry for. The ignorant, arrogant people who ruin it for the others because they can't seem to see the good effects of this show. Nah 3,182 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 Well fuck her! She probably doesn't care if her kids play call of duty and kill people, but watching a show that teaches friendship, thats fucked up!
Discordian 6,015 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 *Rolls eyes* I would have asked her how it stole his heterosexuality and even if he was gay then it wasn't because of MLP and she should feel bad for making it sound like a bad thing in the first place. Jemboi 127 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 Religion sure does make people stupid and do some horrible things. That's why I stay away from it. Maybe we should start our own pony religion?
Lord Sprixx 261 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 (edited) So wait... We stole her nephew's heterosexulaity? Now, I HAVE been called a satanist, but it was a crazy preacher outside of a Metallica concert so, you know, no surprises I guess. But stealing heterosexuality, thats a new one. I don't think it works that way but you know I thing I am fairly straight so I guess i'm no expert. That is just plain strange, and almost insulting if it wasn't so funny. Well I suppose no one was hurt really except maybe your bag of groceries or whatever and you get an awesome story out of it. I guess you could just say I just don't know what went wrong. Prince Lightning Da Cute 619 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 I believe this is getting blown out of proportion! Misunderstanding at its dumbest. People can do only they believed in, you worship god than you won't worship Satan, Hate ponies then you won't watch them & if you don't believe in anything then you won't worship anything! Simple, she was miss informed. I'm the Son of Celestia And when i'm King who else did you think would be Queen?
EldarSteve 119 April 5, 2012 Share April 5, 2012 Well I don't know 'bout you guys but I did make a Faustian pact with the forces of Satan for unspeakable powers, and all Satan asked in return was that I watch My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
Stoner Spike 185 April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 Ring any bells? Yeah! Isn't it too obvious that Studio B implants subliminal messages to worship satan into the show?! That lady. She's...she...no amount of words or facepalms can express the feel of disappoint and utter pity I have. Yo Applejack... Y'alright?
PeachPalette 1,000 April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 What a sad, sad, miserable woman she is. I really do feel bad for her poor nephew that has to put up with her. And so very sorry that you had to endure that kinda crap. I've had people stop being friends with me, with the occasional "fag" remark, but nothing quite like that. IowaBrony 1 April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 ..Wow. Just... wow. I don't see why people throw such a fit when guys don't act like the stereotype of a man. I just want to make sure I got this right: Because you like watching a television show that teaches important friendship lessons while using ponies as the characters, you're a Satanist? Marcato 2,143 April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 This is much like how when people think you are gay just watching a TV show like this. Its completely incorrect. My retort to this would be "if I'm a Satan worshiper for watching MLP, then are you a Christian because you watch everything else?" Exactly. Its quite contradictory. Unfortunately though that's the kind of society we live in. Just because of your opinion on something you get labelled as a certain kind of person. You have a tattoo? Oh your a bad person. You play like My Little Pony? You must be gay. Its how the world works today. ~Relax and enJOY life. Kraznor 33 April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 Oddly, this kind of relates to a lesson I was told at my first job at a grocery store. Sometimes people just have no outlet for their rage and frustrations at all, so the slightest thing can set them off and they'll just vent. In my case, it was not knowing where a certain shipment of potatoes came from or when a shipment was expected, etc (never got raged at really, it was just a common enough occurence in the business they felt best to warn me about it). It seems you were just the most convenient scapegoat on hand for her to unleash all her frustrations pertaining to her feelings on homosexuality and the open-minded nature of most Bronies on. So I wouldn't get too discouraged by it, she obviously had no reason to hate you personally and her feelings towards the show, homosexuality and her nephew are clearly misinformed and ignorant. She likely felt embarrassed later, or will when she confronts the matter in a more reasonable way, say, talking to her nephew about it. Must have been unpleasant though, certainly sounds jarring. According to some survey somewhere, most like Rainbow Dash. Was not expecting that result but I suppose it makes sense.
ShinyRibbonsAndSparkles 164 April 7, 2012 Share April 7, 2012 My reaction would have been: Take it all in, be all like, "Cool story, bro." then walk away. Or just walk away as soon as she yells at me :3 Hi there. I'm SRAS. This is the most boring signature ever made.
