Yeah, takes a bit of grinding but it's super worth it, great armor, tons of slots.

Looks legendary as hell with light blue pigment too...

I may not have been lucky with monster mats. but I managed to forge my seregios armour since everyone pretty much wanted to do it.

Besides, If all else fails, don't forget to pet your pig for good luck.

My hunting partner hates fighting seregios more than almost anything else, and refused to assist me with grinding him (which he fully has the right to as he helped me with zinogre, s. zinogre, B. Tigrex and thats just in this game's high rank) and its like, i cant managae to break his head to get the extra boost in chance, either cap or kill, the only thing ive managed to break is the tail cut.

I never started out with a heap of those, I believe if you've got a Golden VE ticket and bring it to the elder in Dunes (Day) You can trade for a dissenter. Though I'd have to double check!

You can indeed, though i have only gotten up to the silver ticket level

It just frustrates me that this is being such an issue.

Been playing the game so much I didn't notice there was a club here in fact MH4U is my first Monster Hunter game and I really like it so far been using the Long Sword and Dual Blades so far

Dual Blades huh? Never really used them much myself, though I hear they're really useful for inflicting all kinds of status! Or maybe they work well with element too. Maybe I'll give them a go at some point!

Yeah, I saw some Rajang para dual blades and thought about getting them. I'm too noob-ish to use them at a high level though.

:grin2: Since they hit pretty fast, I can imagine a very high rate of paralysis!

I felled the great elder dragon known as Fatalis yesterday! Man, that monster was tough! I almost used all my potions to take it down. Not to mention there was very little time on the clock. Don't ever think the monster is easy to beat. Trust me, it's THAT hard.

 

The scenery and the music playing when facing Fatalis was amazing as well. It's like I'm facing Smaug from The Hobbit. Anypony here thought of that as well?

 

*ahem* That's enough talk about Fatalis now. Now I just need to get two Elder Dragon Bloods and my Gold Rathian set will be complete...This is gonna take a while.

while my IRL friend has been away from monster hunter i have been doing all the offline quests ALL of them

 

and i gotta say i made a wep from g-rank and all solo quests are so easy its unbelievable

 

like i unloked the fatalis right and i killed it in like 13 mins with no potions used   

 

p.s i have the black diablos switch axe and lagiacrus armor

Fighting a Zinogre for no real reason, seems like nothing is hurting it, monster casually walks through next area, I run in, hit it once, it dies.... It didn't even limp at all it seemed like the fight was just starting.

Over the past few days, I had been working in the G rank arena, mainly so I could get all the weapons done for the goodies. But damn that Tigrex Terror arena is a freaking pain >.< You have to fight three Tigrex, and it starts you out with TWO of them, one already frenzied! And after those two are down? FREAKING APEX TIGGY!!! And as if that's not bad enough, three of the weapons (Lance, Gunlance, and bow) don't even have Wystones to be able to attack the Tigrex effectively x.x ugh, but it was worth it to get the damn Barrage Earrings for Load Up...

Mmm, MH4U aside, I had been trying MHFU on my iPad again x: Not too sure on the Touchpad, but ahh well, I can manage o3o Though I would like an MFi controller, I doubt I can afford one for now. At least the Velocidrome was easy enough with LBG and Normal 2 lol

I really wish I could play Monster Hunter more at the moment. I've barely been playing lately, but it's not due to lack on interest. It's because I've been getting very busy with uni lately, and I've just never found the time to play it. I could probably do some offline things here and there for now, but right now my main goals involve online. It's not easy to play online in short bursts instead of one long session.

 

In other news, I'm quite surprised at just how much I'm loving the Hunting Horn. At first I was quite skeptical about it; I liked being able to buff myself and others with my music during the hunt, but it just felt way too slow. But with experience, I've gotten used to its slow speed, and now it's quickly overtaken Dual Blades at the weapon I want to focus on next. The slow speed now just makes me feel like I'm putting a lot of power into each hit, and it's got other more subtle perks I l like such as its long reach and its ability to stun and exhaust monsters.

 

I like to think that when I stun a monster with it, it's not actually stunned, but rather confused about how I'm whacking it with a giant guitar and its actually working.

Best part is for my next charge blade upgrade I need 4 silver rath tails >.<
