It looks good. But Dash's face looks kinda like Olimar.

I like this style the shadows are well done and the eyes look like round smooth silken pearls and her body looks like a big cuddly plushie =)=)=) so soft =)=)=)

There are so many problems with this picture in terms of canonicity, but artistically speaking, it's great.

 

(The canon problems being that Rainbow Dash seems to have hated reading before Read it and Weep, and that the Daring Do books are unlikely to have existed when Dashie was a filly, as A K Yearling seems to be about the same age as she is.)

It didnt really notice till you said it, but ya, she sorta does look a bit pudgy.

Oh ya I know that all. I just saw someone mention the idea for this kind of picture on Tumblr the other day and thought it was a cute idea. I understand it is waaay of in terms of being canon.

Honestly I feel the same, I am thinking of trying to apply this shading style to my other style and see how that turns out haha.

I think part of the problem is how I handled the outlines, but oh well, still learning.
