What kind of nuts do you like and why? What kind of nuts don't you like and why? Or are you allergic?

I'm not sure what my favorite nut is. I like a number of nuts. I like peanuts, cashews and almonds. I think those are probably at the top of my list, somewhere. I like peanut butter and cashew butter a lot. And when I have a recipe that requires nuts, almonds are my go-to nut. I also like macarons and marzipan. I like hazelnuts as a flavoring more than the actual nut. I like it as filling in confections. Also, Nutella. Nutella is my God. And I just found out that coconuts are actually nuts. Derp. Shoulda figured. Well, I like coconuts a lot, so they make it on the list. And I'd never had chestnuts before I moved to Japan, but I really enjoy them from time to time. Amaguri. They're really nice :)

I actually don't like nuts in baked goods. Sometimes, you can't really get around it, which is why I go to almonds, but for the most part, I don't like them in baked goods. It's like an interruption. Like, oh, you were going to take a nice soft bite in to this fluffy muffin? Not anymore! -_-

I'm not big on pecans or macadamia nuts. I hate walnuts. Walnuts always taste really bitter to me. That's part of why I hate nuts in baked goods; the ones that typically go into baked goods are the ones I don't like.

Now it's your turn. Tell me about the nuts you like ;)

I'm allergic to nuts, or so they say. It's a shame, because when I'm stocking the packages of salted almonds they smell soooo good. I want to be able to eat them. T.T

Like a lot of people, my mind went instantly to the gutter when I saw the title.

I like almonds. :P That's...about it. I mean, I like peanut butter, but...

Sorry to hear that :( I'm in a similar situation. I like shrimp, but it makes me sick to eat. I really wish I could eat it and try foods like crab. I think the closest you can get is probably seeds, if you're not allergic to those. Pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds sort of have a bit of a nutty taste to them.

When I was younger I didn't like any nuts at all, but since then I've come to enjoy certain aspects...

I like pistachios, pecans on desserts, salted and spicy peanuts, Hazelnut pralines and hints of coconut in smoothies or chocolate bars.

I hope some people get the joke ^^

I'm not allergic to nuts, but my father is, so I have to make sure he doesn't come into contact with them. So, all of the nut bars/nut stuff I eat I keep in my room and always eat outside the house.

The only way I eat my peanuts is boiled and in butter form. And I can't stand macadamia nuts. I used to get those in my cookies when I was little and I when I bit into it, not knowing it had nuts in it, I hurt my tooth. Nothing really serious, it just hurt like hell.

My favorite kind of nuts are peanuts and cashew nuts. They're so tasty and simple.

I also like pistachios, but it's been a while since I was able to eat them (When I say a while, it's back when I was a child)
