I've always been a Sony guy, each pair I've had has lasted me for about 3-4 years. Currently the Sony Gold Wireless headset. Now for headphones...I just buy the cheap $20-30 headphones Sony offers, they do the job and are easy to replace(this is for music when on the go)

I have a cheap pair of retractable headphones from Realtek. Headphones tend to die really quick for me so spending more than the six bucks that I already do is just a waste of money. Plus they serve my purposes well when I can put them in my pocket without tangling them thanks to the reel in the center.

 

So I just buy them in bulk.

 

Last time I tried to buy a "reliable" set of headphones it broke down in less than a month. Cost me $30 too. Bleh. I'll never buy Skullcandy again.
