Yeah probably a cat, if they can live in Cloudsdale. If they can't well then I'd live in Ponyville so I could have one!

Probably would be Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy or Pinkie. I have a lot in common with the three of them I find.

I would be a unicorn, because while it would be awesome to be able to fly, ponies don't have hands and thus, can't manipulate certain objects very well. If I were a unicorn, I could use magic to manipulate objects, perhaps with even more precision than humans can.

My fur would be a dark shade of blue simply because that's my favorite color. My mane and tail would probably be either black or purple. My eyes would be brown because my actual eyes are brown.

Not Dave, that's for sure.

I don't know. I guess I would be the oldest blank flank in Equestria.

 

Where would you live?

I prefer the city so I think I would live in Canterlot. Though I wouldn't be snobby and stuck up like most of Canterlot's citizens. I would have friends in Ponyville and would likely spend much of my time there.

 

Would you have a pet?

Yes. I would have a cat, though I actually have a dog in real life.

 

Finally, who would your best friends be?

I like to travel so I imagine I would become friends with ponies from all over Equestria, though my best friends would likely be a combination of ponies from Canterlot and Ponyville since I would spend most of my time in either of those places. If they must be canon characters from the show, I would say probably Big Mac because he seems like a cool, laid back, and fun guy to hang out with, possibly Applejack because she's his sister and we're bound to meet, Pinkie Pie (obviously) because she's friends with everyone, and Twilight because she's a fellow unicorn and I could probably learn quite a bit of useful magic from her. I honestly couldn't see myself being friends with Rarity (even though she's my favorite) because she's just too high-class, and proper. I just don't think I would be able to relate. I probably wouldn't be friends with Fluttershy unless she was introduced to me because, as shy as she is, I would probably never get to meet her. Rainbow Dash is athletic and "cool" and I generally just don't relate to those types. I'm nerdy, laid back, and the opposite of athletic so I think each of my best friends would have at least one of those traits.

 

Although, it's quite possible I would have no friends at all due to my lack of a cutie mark and of course nopony would hire me because I don't have a special talent so I would probably be homeless. I guess I could make friends with Derpy and she could let me stay in the spare room in the post office. You know what, nevermind that wall of text above. My best friend would be Derpy. I would help her deliver mail and then we would sit around and blow bubbles all day.

My OC would certainly git the bill here, even though she's the opposite gender of myself.

 

Her name is Inkfeather and she's a dark purple pegasus with an Grey/Violet mane. Her eyes are a silvery dark blue, in the same hue as her mane.

As the OP, her cutie mark is a quill and an inkwell, because her talent is poetry.

She would be living in Ponyville library together with Twilight, living there after moving away from Cloudsdale, trying to settle down amongst the solitude that is the nature of a library. Though this wouldn't last long as she's quickly drawn into the cycle of study that is required of her to stay at said library, hence meeting Twilight and her friends on a regular basis and slowly intwining into this circle of friends.

I think it would count as a pet when staying at the libriary, to share the company of Owloysius (name taken form the MLP wiki, I honestly have no idea how to spell it)

 

When staying at the library, I presume Twilight would be her best friend, also because of the common love for good literature.
