Better mobile features

The layout if mobile is fine for me but I hate not being able to do everything. I want to be able to update my status and jump to the last read reply on topics. It gets really annoying when the topic is 20 pages long. Not really descriptive but not much I can do considering all I want is the same abilities I have on my computer.

I have to agree with this, the mobile needs work. Perhaps getting an app might help? I don't know. It needs more features for certain. What? Just the same features that the site has. Maybe downgraded but as long as they have the same or close to the same amount of features then I'll enjoy the mobile because I really like the web version

The mobile features absolutely does need work. This is one of the most requested features, and we're aware of it. Going to steal Jeric's quote here:

The better alternative is to eventually move to a design that is naturally more responsive on all device viewport sizes. You don't need an app if the site is usable on a smaller device with most of its functionality and style intact.

I agree, I hate using the mobile version.

 

For folks that don't know, there is a button on the bottom of the screen that will switch it from mobile to the regular site. I recommend doing that if you are going to use the forums on your phone.

All that I'd like for the mobile version to have is to be able to view and reply to a friend's status updates.. rather than having to switch to PC to do it..
