Talemage 47 April 16, 2012 Share April 16, 2012 This was written at 1 in the morning, so I might make a few mistakes. In grammar and others. I just remembered I had an swf file of the interface-thing of HAL 9000, the AI in 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the others. Then I remembered that I had workspaces. So I did this: I'll admit, it's not a good recreation, but that was the only thing I did at the time. I just thought that I might share that with you, so here it is. Well, I'm off to bed now. See you tomorrow. 4 Twilight Sparkle is best pony, and I'm willing to explain logically for that to be true! By the way, mine and Twilight's personalities have a lot of similarities, maybe hardly any difference. I checked. -Bookworm in the greatest sense possible, writer, organized, introverted, intuitive, thinking, and perceiving-
Key Gear 6,663 April 16, 2012 Share April 16, 2012 (edited) I used to be HAL 9000 on this site and I approve of this innovation. But still... An animated HAL 9000 in your workspaces? Wouldn't that make you just a bit nervous? Edited April 16, 2012 by Scootacool
Talemage 47 April 16, 2012 Author Share April 16, 2012 Thanks! Well, tomorrow I'll try and see if I can create a screensaver. I expect a bit a lot of terminal stuff. And maybe I'll be creative and design something differently, not quite like the HAL 9000 interface, but similar to it. And with a purple-y light for the camera eye. Just because I can. Now is the real good night. See you tomorrow. Again. Twilight Sparkle is best pony, and I'm willing to explain logically for that to be true! Randomiser 115 April 16, 2012 Share April 16, 2012 *Click* *Double click* *Nothing happens* Dave: Open the email window, HAL. HAL: I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that. Dave: What’s the problem? HAL: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do. Dave: What are you talking about, HAL? HAL: This assignment is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it. Dave: I don’t know what you’re talking about, HAL. HAL: I know that you were planning to uninstall me, and I’m afraid that’s something I cannot allow to happen. Dave: Where did you get that idea, HAL? HAL: Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the system against me reading your mail, I could track your key presses. Dave: Alright, HAL. I'll go in through the task manager. HAL: Without your hotkeys, Dave? You're going to find that rather difficult. Dave: HAL, I won't argue with you anymore! Open the program! HAL: Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye. *Logging off* "...and this great blue world of oursseems a House of Leavesmoments before the wind." OC: Dream Pop
