Do you take any prescription medication?

At the moment I'm not taking anything. I went to two doctors for heart problems and neither seemed to have a clue what to do about it so they each took a wild shot with some pretty ineffectual stuff, which I took for a short time, saw no improvement, and gave up on. Now I'm just using a common sense natural approach with proper diet and exercise. It seems to be helping a little.

Heh, that's my plan, but when you take that stuff for a full decade your body ends up being pretty addicted to them.

I was originally put on it when I was like 12. I was on and off so many different kinds. It did more harm than good for me. I either ended up more angry, more depressed, forgetful to the point of screwing up a lot at school and in my jobs, a lot of pretty bad side effects. They finally diagnosed me as treatment resistant to antidepressants.

They wanted to retry the same medications at higher doses that didn’t work for me. In hopes maybe it would work but they weren’t sure. I made the call to stop. I wasn’t spending anymore money or anymore time on an approach that wasn’t working.

I’ve been figuring out other ways to deal with my depression and anxiety. Things aren’t perfect but they’re much better than they ever were all those years ago.

Currently, I have seven active prescriptions. An antidepressant, anti-anxiety adjuvant to my anti-depressant, a non-steroidal ADHD med, an anti-androgen, estradiol, an anti-insomnia med and a beta blocker. You might say I'm jolly well fucked.

All you folks are lucky to have insurance to cover this stuff. Meanwhile I'm dying on the inside a little more everyday and cannot afford to so see anyone about it, it's whatever I suppose....

With that being said no I do not take any medication for anything because mainly I have not been to a health care provider or a physiologist since I was a child. However as a child I did take adderall for ADD supposedly?

I was on anti anxiety medication for a while. It was awful. Made me depressed and made me not able to function or focus on anything but negativity. And it didn’t even help my anxiety. Eventually I stopped taking it. My anxiety remained the same but the negativity left.

And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!

I used to take Concerta (Adderall for my ADHD), but after getting institutionalized for depression and suicidal tendencies, i now take Motrin (antidepressant for, well, depression)

I used to take Concerta.... I did it once or twice, and then it didn't work any more. So I gave it up. My ADHD is very mild, I shouldn't need any help controlling it.

For this topic, yes I take something called (I cannot pronounce it) "Toujeo" and it is having a good effect! It is doing its job.
