I went on a crazy 6-mile hike yesterday with one of my old friends from high school. We hiked up to at least 10,000 ft in elevation. We trekked through endless dirt, gravel, and snow—needless to say, it was an amazing experience. It took us 5-6 hours total and we had to descend completely off-trail in order to get back before dark. It was ultimately the longest hike of both of our lives.
