It is very rare I fall asleep in a reasonable time, I usually end up lying in bed with my own thoughts for some time before drifting off. 

That being said, I do have a sleep playlist I occasionally listen to, mostly consists of some slower red army choir pieces and pony music.

Pretty much anything that I feel's calm and/or slow. Ambient music works well for me, though I won't share any here. My reasoning behind that? When I shared some to someone else, they said it gave them nightmares.

 

Bjorn Riis' Lullaby in a Car Crash is excellent to sleep to.

 

There's also Buckethead. He's got a lot of them. Someone made a 100 part compilation of emotional Buckethead songs. Here's the longest fourth of that compilation. I suggest listening to Electric Sea, which isn't in this particular video.
