spoiler Why are the CMC cutie marks so small?

One thing i notice about the CMC's cutie marks is.....they're really small, even for fillies. Why?

Size isn't important. Maybe it reflects that their skills involve helping others? Small means that they aren't boastful? Also, each of their marks is really three marks in one. The CMC have historically been rather humble as well, and this may be the "four in one" aspect of it.

Pretty much has it on the spot. You know how cutie marks come in 3's or one big one? Well first off, they are all small themselves, secondly its not one big cutie mark each, its one cutie mark broken appart into three individuals. Those three come as a package deal!

 

 

.....Does this mean that if anypony gets married to one of them the other two come as a package deal as well?

 

......cuz that would be hilariously innappropirate and awesome at the same time.
