A Celestia episode. A lazy guard is jealous of her power, but realizes that being the ruler of Equestria is a pain in the flank.

 

Fluttershy's brother comes to Ponyville, but he is autistic and the Mane 6 learn a unique way to befriend somepony.

 

Cheese Sandwich's return.

 

Discord X Fluttershy. 

 

Star Swirl is revealed to be the younger King Sombra, who was banished by Celestia to be tortured in Yakyakistan, but took over the Crystal Empire instead.

 

Sunset Shimmer returns to Equestria but finds out during her time in the real world she became a princess and soon reconciles with Celestia.

 

Its "Mommy and Daddy's Day" in Equestria. All the parents of the Mane 6 are introduced and Spike realizes who Twilight really is to him.

 

A two-parter where the Mane 6 discover a secret Anti-Alicorn oyalty organization in Equestria: and they want Twilight's head!

- More mythological creatures/monsters

 

- A Celestia episode (though I fear it will be too little, too late   ) Heck, I'd just be happy if she made herself USEFUL for once (again, it's likely too little too late)

 

- Villain Team-Up!

 

- More Gen 1 characters, or at least references. *Starts a fund to hire a lawyer to get Gen 1 Mane 5*  

 

- Minor Characters/Backgrounders helping out

 

- Starlight getting a proper redemption

 

- More celebrities/special guest stars

 

I want a villain that reveals himself in the premiere, and is defeated in the finale, not like Starlight though, I want this villain to do multiple things during the season, like half the episodes are serious action-adventure stories against the threat, and the other half are slice of life

 

That sounds awesome!

 

...but highly unlikely.

What I want for Season Six

 

More Zecora: Especially after this last season finale, she has proven to be a leader under stress, vast knowledge of magic that dwarfs even Twilight, and is in desperate need of an episode to explore her character more. Seriously She is way to cool to keep off screen. 

 

Another Treehugger and Fluttershy episode: I absolutely love that Fluttershy stepped out of her comfort zone, went out into the scary world on her own, and ended up making a friend that she can relate to in a way she never had before. I want to see them growing even closer as friends this upcoming season. 

 

Grogar: Come On hasbro, gimme some Grogar! 

 

 

More Cutie Map Missions: I love it as a plot device, its a great tool for world building and I hope they use it some more this next season. 

 

Gilda and Pinkie Pie Episode: Gilda wants to learn to bake better for a certain Griffin lady she was shy towards, Pinkie is a baker she knows, Gilda swallows pride to come to ponyville to learn from the Party Pony, Hilarity ensues

 

More Maud: Cause Maud ROCKS 

 

Our Town characters return: Party Favor, Double Diamond, all of them, I wanna see more of them!

 

Diamond Tiara and CMC team up: Diamond Tiara is a natural born leader, I'd like to see her become the leader of the CMC group and grow into a better pony

A lot of folks seem to be hoping for Starswirl.  That would bother me, because I don't think something like that can be done or contained properly in the regular show.  I think Starswirl needs to be reserved for the big screen.  (i.e. the movie.)

 

My hopes for season 6 are exactly the same as my futile hopes for every season:

 

• Celestia spotlight
• Royal Sisters spotlight
• Zecora spotlight

Those are the biggies...which will never happen of course.  I guess I should set my sights a little lower.  Let's see, here's a realistic list:

 

• Celestia is mentioned in passing or can be seen briefly, out of focus in the background if you pause the frame at the right time.
• Twilight visits Zecora's house when all other plot devices are busy, and the brief visit once again results in the destruction of all of Zecora's treasured artifacts from her homeland.  (Seriously, every time they visit her, they destroy her home somehow.  If I was Zecora, I'd hate the mane 6.)

 

Let's see, I guess also some good Spike development would be nice.  You know, revealing some of his origins, his parents, that kind of thing.

I'm really hoping that we get a Celestia episode, because that is long over due. This is at the top of my wish list. Next, would be a Zecora episode. Like Celestia, there is so much about Zecora that has been left unexplored. And lastly, I would really like a episode solely on Applejack.
