In the same boat here, except if you swap out Super Mario Odyssey for Puyo Puyo Tetris. Had to start with BOTW, but I needed a more casual game for long trips if Zelda tires me out.

I also got Sonic Forces for the XBone... haven't played it yet... because I've been busy.

Today, I bought....DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!! A Nintendo Switch! And Splatoon 2 is my first game, never owned the Wii U version since I sold my Wii U pretty quickly. I am really enjoying it so far. Neat little unit.

Last Tuesday I got King of Fighters 02/03 (two games in one box) for my Playstation 2. I've really only played KoF 2002, but it's pretty fun so far.

Got's me another Switch game. Disgaea 5 Complete is that game and wow is it overwhelming. XD There's just so much stuff. Definitely will be getting a lot of play hours out of this one. I also got a case for my Switch in the same night, a blue Breathe of the Wild case. It is nice, though I did sorta want the Splatoon 2 case a bit more. A case is a case though.

I recently bought myself " Bubsy in Claws encounters of the furred kind " for the Super Nintendo and also " Super Bubsy " for Pc, which is basically the first game, but according to Wikipedia, it also includes the pilot Episode for the never picked up Bubsy Cartoon.

Picked up Skyrim for Nintendo Switch last night for a great deal. To be entirely honest, this version is impressing me a lot. Seriously, it is really good. For a handheld console like this, it is awesome. The graphics on the handheld itself look great, the controls are fine, and it includes all DLC. I can't believe that I can play a game like that on a handheld console. XD What a world we live in now.

I downloaded Doki Doki Literature Club and FNAF 6 ("Pizzeria Simulator") for free. I might buy a popular game with the kids called Undertale...

Before that, the last time I bought a game was a used Arkham Asylum which I just started playing on my PS3 (I bought it in 2016 and then my PS3 died...wife bought me a replacement for that last Christmas...so that was my last gaming purchase)

 

Maybe I'll buy a Nintendo Switch is my Christmas bonus is big enough. I don't buy games often anymore...

I bought myself Bubsy 2 for Game Boy and Mortal Kombat 2 for Game Boy.

Also, since i dont think that my Copy of Mortal Kombat 2 for the Sega Saturn will arrive anymore, after the order mix up and now with me getting no notification about it, i bought myself a russian bootleg copy of Mortal Kombat 2 for the Sega Mega Drive. Bootleg copys arent nice and morally wrong, but i paid like 60 dollars for my original copy and i think thats enough money to justify this frustration order. My Version is called Mortal Kombat 2 - Upgrade... not sure what that means.

Well, i actually like Bubsy, so i was quite happy about the game. I already played trough the first game and enjoyed it and now im looking forward to the sequels. Even though i hate it, that i have to buy myself an Atari Jaguar for the third game...because the console is quite rare.

Some games I got recently were Fire Emblem Warriors for the Switch, Rocket League for the Switch and The Sims 4 for Xbox One. I am enjoying both Warriors and Rocket League a lot, the Sims I am enjoying too, but damn does this port lack some really important things, like the Gallery. Didn't even know the Gallery wasn't in the game until I bought it and it has sorta soured me on it. I kinda expected that to be a standard feature regardless of platform but EA is all like nooooooooo. Maybe we will have to buy it in the future or something.
