ManaMinori 4,145 February 14, 2016 #1 Share February 14, 2016 (edited) Considering how popular Friendship is Magic has been- running the longest out of any other MLP generation, having an Equestria Girls spinoff, and a Guardians of Harmony spinoff, with its own comic series- will this train keep on track for yet another spinoff, someday? Perhaps one touching on the lore of the g1 Flutter ponies, revamped for gen 4 style? Hasbro's already copied the Monster High franchise, why not the Disney Faires, with pony faeries of their own? We already have Queen Rosedust, Honeysuckle, Forget-me-not, and the other Flutterponies... Would you guys enjoy a FiM Faeries spinoff with Flutterponies? http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:Flutter_Ponies Edited February 14, 2016 by Nightmare Muffin 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub

Silver Letter 1,832 February 14, 2016 #3 Share February 14, 2016 I never even heard of Flutterponies before. I guess if they can do it right then I might support it but I want them to concentrate on what may be FiM's final season rather than expand more. Silver Letter!!! Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,803 February 14, 2016 #4 Share February 14, 2016 I have a feeling that it will mostly depend on what else is a fad at the time. While I usually don't like saying this about Hasbro, they do have a small habit of creating something to put out into the toy market later. Or even before it airs. Equestria Girls was clearly a direct attempt to get into the Monster High style of market and so I think any future spin-offs will depend on something like that, since we haven't seen anything else crop up so far.
Buck Testa 5,505 February 14, 2016 #5 Share February 14, 2016 I don't know about a Flutter pony spin off but I would like to see a more content none the less. Maybe a show dedicated to the Secret agents of Celestia like Bon Bon? I'd love a show following the exploits of an agent pony Kim Possible style, taking on monsters and lower level threats to Equestria that the Mane six don't have to deal with. 2 http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Billy%20G%20Gruff http://billyggruff.deviantart.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPVpSXbUpDYTcaFHTPiPjYA

Overlord0909 479 February 14, 2016 #7 Share February 14, 2016 Flutterponies? Never heard of 'em myself. But, that is probably because I can't watch the last three generations. Can you blame me? cmarston1 5,959 February 14, 2016 #8 Share February 14, 2016 (edited) I don't really see FIM getting another spinoff as of right now. Possibly after the series is over, a G4.5 series could be created taking place in the same universe but a lot of time would have passed and a new batch of main characters would be the stars. But, that's all I can really see happening. Edited February 14, 2016 by cmarston1
EverEverOn 346 February 14, 2016 #9 Share February 14, 2016 Probably, considering Hasbro is always finding ways to make money out of Pony. I can definitely see them expanding on Daring Do or Special Agent Sweetie Drops. It probably won't happen right now, as the current show is still successful enough, but maybe later on as the show starts to falter.
Mesme Rize 15,687 February 14, 2016 #10 Share February 14, 2016 Why would they? It costs way too much money and is way too much work for the artists, to do yet ANOTHER thing besides FiM. The toys run good, so why bother? My OC Mesme Rize: >https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/mesme-rize-r8777 Thank you Randimaxis for this Wonderful Avatar. Steve Piranha 29,443 February 14, 2016 #14 Share February 14, 2016 Well, I think FIM can still hold it's own for a while, but sooner or later, it might be a good idea to see a spin off. About what? Don't care, just wrap FIM first. I think we WILL see such thing one day, as judging by the insane amount of new toys and expanding the demographic, it's obvious G4 is doing pretty well right now 2 Sig by Discords

I think it would be a pretty cool idea, but as an Indiana jones style comic. I don't think it would be very good as a show, the animators have enough on their plate. 1 Avatar by me, I'm finally okay at drawing x3 If you like helping peeps, you should check out GoG! On-Locoweed 108 February 14, 2016 #16 Share February 14, 2016 Don't expect anything as good as FiM ever again from Hasbro. They can't top it as far as the pony brand goes. FiM killed the longevity and recyclability that the My Little Pony franchise had. What a way to go out.

Wind Chaser 4,768 February 15, 2016 #18 Share February 15, 2016 I could see the possibility of a new series popping up if the movie does prove to be the end of the current FiM series, however I don't see anything coming up at the moment as far as media spinoffs go. Officially, Equestria Girls is the only toy spinoff to have had a media counterpart, and I see it staying that way for a while.
Lil Pip 775 February 15, 2016 #19 Share February 15, 2016 I think it'll depend on how much the income from the movie makes, its possible for them to change their minds depending on how well it does. If the movie exceeds expectations they may continue making movies sorta like Pokemon except they would need to add a new element to the show to make it more interesting to last as long as Pokemon does. Pokemon has hundreds of Pokemon for instance. But MLP idk, prolly won't compete with Pokemon at the tv-show level, I mean how far can ponies go compared to dozens of species of variation they can come up with on a whim? But if the movie flops its easy to just continue wrapping it up if they have a plan or two on the backburner.
Unlikeable Pony 2,698 February 15, 2016 #20 Share February 15, 2016 Eh, the thing is, from what I hear, the girls market, including MLP, was floundering last quarter for hasbro. So the odds of us getting a season 7, LET ALONE a spin off, are pretty poor at the moment unless things suddenly do a 180, which I doubt. Hell, if Equestria girls doesn't pick up, Legend of everfree could be the last one of it. As for Flutterponies: I SERIOUSLY doubt we'll see flutterponies anytime soon. Specifically, their niche is already filled. We got the breezies for the fairy type of ponies, and adding in Flutterponies would just seem too generic compared to breezies and Pegasi. Basically ponies with butterfly wings like what rarity had. Defeat the smooze by flinging dust from their wings at it until it dies.

MAIKUN 262 February 15, 2016 #22 Share February 15, 2016 Don't get me wrong you guys, but I had that CMC spinoff stuck in my head since July 2014. Megas 27,787 February 15, 2016 #24 Share February 15, 2016 (edited) I don't think FiM needs another spin-off, and EQG is doing just fine. I mean, when you think about it, FiM almost got everything it needs: - A Long Running and popular series - A successful Spin-off - A Comic Book series - Tons of merch aiming at several demographs - A theatrical movie coming soon All its really missing is a Transformers crossover and and actual video game, and that shouldn't be too hard to do considering there are plenty of people(including Wayforward, a developer with a solid reputation), so I don't think it should be too hard to get one done. But as it stands, I don't think they need another spin-off. If they ever want make another, orgo back to that CMC preschool show idea that'd be fine, but otherwise I think they're fine with EQG, it still bringing in the dough Seriously though Hasbro, a Rainbow Dash Transformer, I'd be all over that Edited February 15, 2016 by Megas
