I’m not entirely convinced they’re as safe as portrayed.

I agree. They're not as bad as cigarettes/tobacco, though it's not considered 100% safe. I used to vape a couple years ago, I can't guarantee that myself.

I switched from cigars to vaping a while back and haven't looked back. I also love hunting for new flavors—it's like a fun little adventure every time I pick up a new juice.

No. I have never vaped and I never will. Why waste money on buying poison. To die faster? I think smoking and vaping are stupid. Breathing in poison and enjoying it? That sounds crazy.

The money can be spent on more useful things.

I have a lot of classmates who vape and some of them also smoke. They vape in class, sometimes even during lessons. I hate it when they do it around me. I hate breathing in that poison.

Some classmates suggested me to try vaping but I always refused. They said that I was doing the right thing by not vaping. They say that vaping is bad but they can't give it up. They are already addicted to it.

If you smoke or vape, remember that you are killing yourself and the people around you!

I don't vape, but do smoke a pipe when camping sometimes. It's not like I'm fan of smoking, but I enjoy the ritual if cleaning and preparing the pipe. The same with coffee, I like brewing it even more than drinking.

For me, vaping NEXA N20000 has been a great choice. It’s smooth and reliable, making it perfect for daily use and flavor experimentation. Keeps my cravings at bay while I enjoy exploring different flavors.

No, I don't like smoking in general. I find it uncouth and unhealthy, even vaping. I've noticed that many of my old friends have taken up smoking or drinking excessively, and it's off-putting to see them constantly smoking when we're together. It makes me less inclined to hang out with them. However, if that's what they choose to do, it's their prerogative.

I don't smoke or vape. They are both bad for your lungs, and smell awful.

I a pharmacist in training will try to assist you. Vape contains nicotine but it is also composed of multiple heavy metals. Propane-Glycerol, lead, chromium, acrolein, and more. It can cause harm to the person doing it and others around them. It is not good for the environment, so as @Snoopy Fan said I do not vape and never will.

There are no conclusive evidence about it.

At first we thought vaping was safer, because vaping works in a similar way as of nebulizations. You know, we make fluids go from liquid to gas without applying high temperatures so people can breathe the fluid. Nebulizations can be good for people and most often are used as part of medical treatment for a good amount of breathing related problems.

However, later on we found cases of people developing severe deseases in their lungs. So the first thing we thought of was that vaping was the problem. That because vapers use aromatic compounds and some add ons to make vapes flavored. All these aromatic compounds have a ring of bencene connected to esters. Bencene on itself is cancerigenous, but usually innofensive when on an aromatic compoud (else we all would get cancer from eating any sort of fruit xD).

However, research couldn't relate the use of vapes to lung problems, given there was a looooot of other risk factors on the patients, such as air polution and so.

Vape is less harmful than smoking. Vape does contain a little less harmful chemicals. But not by much as they both damage your health.

Neither should be done, they pollute, kill, are harmful to other individuals, and ruin the environment.

and they are a waste of money. Vaping may do less damage than smoking, but the best thing is to try to quit altogether, even if it's hard. Some people never start vaping or smoking in the first place. Considering that vaping can cause inflammation of the lungs it is clear they are doing something harmful.

He's right just avoid vaping and smoking in general. Once you start, you might not be able to stop. Causing catastrophic issues for the bodies lungs and airways.

Dry herb vape when I do. It helps with the PTSD. tCdoBDj.png

Not a huge fan of the juices, though a number of years ago I tried out some CBD ones.

No, I don't vape. I have friends that vape, and they have tried to get me into it, but just like smoking, I don't see the point. It doesn't make me feel good in any way, and my gut tells me that it's probably unhealthy (even if I don't know for sure).

I remember telling a friend I might get into vape because the containers look so colorful and lively! But I only look impulsive, I do a lot of research before jumping into something.

Sadly I found out it has nicotine. (Boo!) And I am against anything that may induce addiction. The marketing is flawless, though. Someone like me would definitely love the packaging, aesthetic and social aspect of vaping!!! I am the perfect target. xD

But I need to always keep my senses sharp and clear from any addiction.

Also, my vice is sugar lol I do not need another one. ^_^

Yeah, I vape too. Got into it for similar reasons, was trying to quit smoking and a friend suggested it. Now I’m mostly in it for the flavors. Been off nicotine for a while, just enjoy chasing new blends. Would totally be down for a vapers club, sounds fun.

Lately, I’ve been liking IQOS sticks in the U.S. They heat tobacco instead of burning it, which might be a bit less harmful than regular smoking. I’ve been buying them online and trying out different flavors. It’s a nice change from regular vaping!

I can't say that I do.
I avoid that sort of thing due to concerns related to health and addiction. No word of a lie, I would probably smoke if it wasn't for said health concerns and addiction elements. I don't know. Seriously though, the way my dad was addicted to smoking and how he could be if he couldn't smoke, it's definitely not worth it. But back on topic with vaping, its never really appealed to me and like I said, its the whole health and addiction thing again.

I get addicted enough to certain junk food as it is. Seriously put a tube of Pringles or a box of Jaffa Cakes in front of me and they're gone! :sealed:

Same, regrettably to say I considered it many years back but I changed my view on that since. Vaping is both a waste of money and bad for health, resulting in a condition known as popcorn lung, carrying contaminants into the airways and if some have nicotine in them, that's even worse. I say no to that, I'd rather just drink a coke zero, at least aspartame is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, aspartic acid, and that there is no proven link between aspartame and cancer according to Cancer Research UK and World Health Organization. That doesn't necessarily make sweetened beverages "good for us" but there is enough evidence to say artificial sweeteners like aspartame is a low risk at the very least. Smoking and vaping are not low risk though and there is conclusive evidence of both causing life threatening health problems.
