What are your favorite video game glitches? I prefer answers pointing out a helpful glitch, but it can be a funny one too. Any glitch you actually like.

 

 

(Slight Payday 2 spoiler, very minor anyhow.) My favorite is a glitch on the Xbox 360 version on Payday 2. Sometimes, there won't be any police coming in the building on the second day of the Firestarter mission. The police will be outside, but not in the building.

I've always liked in Skyrim when the dead bodies look like they are humping each other...

 

When I played Fallout 3, I encountered a glitch where a magnum revolver had 3000 damage. I did use it, but as a last resort gun.

My favorite glitch would be the hidden worlds that you can visit in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

I like it, when in Racing Games, like Ridge Racer, i can just drive trough someone, without losing speed. ( if i come from the side, that is )

Sometimes it works.

 

Or if a Computer Enemy in Worms, kills themselves, by getting hurt from their own Weapon they use, attacking themselves or Team Mates or by just randomly falling from cliffs or walking into Water. 

Not sure if that counts as a Glitch though, i guess sometimes, even the CPU makes some mistakes.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best collections of glitches in any game in my opinion:

 

The last glitch, by far, is the best: you have to go two-player mode and having one player stand at one of the vehicle stations and the other open the map and select an area to travel to. Then one player must open the vehicles menu at the exact same time as another confirms where they wish to go, and the vehicles menu will glitch. Then player one just has to pick the vehicle they want to be, whether it's a boat or a helicopter. It's hilarious!! You can even have to the other player drive the vehicle, or you can hop into other cars and planes and such whilst playing as a vehicle.

One of my favorite Helpful glitches was in Halo Reach. While playing on Legendary on one of the stages, there is a doorway that you must press a button to activate. Once you activate it, the enemies spawn in and you have to go through the next area fighting them all. There is a pretty cool glitch here that is very helpful. Jump into the forklift, align yourself along the door so that when you double tap X, your character will jump out towards the door, then if you position it right, your character will glitch through the door, and as such, the enemies will not spawn as pressing the button is what makes them spawn. So you can just walk merrily to the end of the level with no resistance. 

 

One of my favorite FUNNY glitches is in Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. While you are in a building, kill someone. Then, drag their body and place it into an open doorway. Then close the door on their body. Chaos will then ensue! :3 I have seen instances where they are twitching like crazy, their bodies stretching like taffy and other funny moments.

This is hilarious! 

Someone screaming "SHAAAAAAUN" in the middle of serious events is too silly...

 

I love this one glitch in Borderlands 2 which happened to me once, where an enemy suddenly started flying through the sky, glitching out, screaming. It was beautiful. I just watched it for a few minutes. It was a beautiful moment.

Mayby not my favourite, but when I tried something out and didn't found anything to it, I tried it myself

 

What happens in MGS2, when you disarm the bomb, short before Fatman arrives but you jumping from the heliport before cutcene starts?

 

The fall kills you so it would mean game over but the cutcene should start around the same time.

 

Result:

 

-The game over theme including the typical "Raiden, respond! Raiden? RAIIIDEEEN!!!", but you seeonly the black screen from starting a cutcene. If you blindly just press on continue you have to run the way again to the bomb. it didnt deleted or damaged my save, but never did it again after.

The glitches in Sonic '06 were always hilarious to me. I managed to use a glitch to completely skip over the Mach speed sections without any damage. Which were funny 'cause Sonic kept doing his animation when he gets damaged, so he's constantly spinning in midair! Even when I got to the goal ring, he kept spinning! I wish I recorded it though. ._.

I used to love the glitches in Destiny 2 where you could go out of bounds in the Tower, it was fun to explore that. My favorite glitches are from COD MW3 on Xbox 360, where you could use a killstreak to go outside any map and become invincible. I never did that in online games of course, but it was extremely fun offline.

I was playing Majora's Mask a couple of years ago and I somehow got one of those clam enemies in the pirate fortress to fly through the wall and into the void. I still don't know how I did it, but boy it was magical.

As far as actually helpful glitches go, the shop glitch in Final Fantasy Tactics(PS1 version only) using a particular combination of skills(dual wield to knights , it might work for ninjas using equip shield as well but I haven’t tried it) where you can farm for extremely rare and powerful swords by equipping the sword you want on the left hand and a shield on the right, then the sword will duplicate often for an incredibly cheap price(usually done to discourage players from selling them). It’s extremely helpful when you have Orlandu as he can equip any blade in the game(though you have to grind to get him dual world which is a Ninj skill and one of the more complex classes to obtain but one of the best as well). Unfortunately this was fixed in the PSP remake

Back in the DOS days, playing Stunts and getting this weird thing where the car just started flying because of backing too fast through loops and stuff. It was just too funny to look at.

- Swimming in rivers in Animal Crossing by tripping into them

- The very tricky FNAF door glitch that Markiplier got where Foxy soft locked the doors, making the night way too easy to win

- A personal glitch I did a long time ago on Disney Infinity where Rapunzel ground-pounded the spawn area right as Elsa respawned, causing her to fall over and get stuck on the ground

There are tons of glitches I've experienced when playing Super Mario Sunshine. The ability to walk in the water, the ability to walk under the map ( will die if you stop moving for a few seconds ) and the ability to make two of the durians float and one of them become invisible are some types of glitches in that game. 

 

I've also experienced some glitches in Super Smash Bros Brawl. Being knocked under the shine gate in Isle Delfino is one of them.
