Who is that guy?

Uhhh....I think it's David Tennant but that's not important.

I hope you won't lose the power on Christmas Eve. 😬😬😬 That doesn't sound good.

On the other hoof, you like seeing David Tennant? He's seems a really great actor btw.

We had some rain earlier. Now it's cold and windy, with a touch of snow flurries.

Temperature at -5 °C and overcast, it has stopped snowing but there is still so much snow from the previouses days. I haven't seen this much snow and winter weather in almost a decade

Icy. It’s been the snowiest/iciest winter for probably... a very long time here. A couple of days a year is a lot around here. Usually winters are just cold and rainy. Probably getting a second snow spray next week :o (we only ever get a day if at all for a few years). Wish people safe travels on their commute.

Its pushing -40 and probably 40 mile an hour wind here...some very fine snow is falling too. Basically no snow and usually it would be colder and have a few feet of snow. Wind is about right, maybe a little slow.

I also have a suspicion that my septic system is freezing up in this weather despite it not susposed to freeze in the first place, the extra insulation and a heater ran throughout it.

We have been having lake effect snow for the last 24 hours. :ButtercupLaugh: It's nothing like lake effect snow near the Great Lakes, but it has kept us with ongoing wintry precipitation for several days now. Bizarrely enough I think it got heavier overnight because a little accumulation happened overnight, whereas before it wasn't happening all of that much.

And guess what? We have a winter storm coming! A real winter storm. Like the one we saw 10 years ago!

There's so much to talk about. We had a really good snow in December, but since then it has been so mild. In fact, we hadn't ever gotten below 27F for an overnight low, and even getting below freezing at all was a rare occurrence. I was really concerned, because if you don't get good solid freezes, more bugs survive and it causes issues. Well... Then this last week happens and suddenly we're way below 27 and haven't even gotten above 21 degrees for days. And early next week with the snow storm they are predicting highs in the single digits (like 6 degrees) and a low of -10.

Let me just say, I have never seen a day not get out of the single digits. The lowest high I have ever seen was like 15 (and that is extremely rare), so this is huge.

We just had rain pretty much all day today. We had some sleet yesterday. In the past two weeks, we been having nothing but rain, rain/snow almost every day. It sucks. Its going to continue to rain for the next 3 days. Its not even spring yet. We have had too much rain recently.

Snow and ice is melting. Supposed to be peeing down right now. Or shortly. Supposed to be warmer next week personally I can't wait, the easterly wind lately has really been getting on my wick .. :unamused:

Teperatures turned from frosty winter to mild sping in two days. On monday, I had 0°C and ice rain, and now, I have 8°C and sunshine. Not that I complain the warmer temperatures, but not in only two days. And we will get almost 20°C at the end of the week. A little bit to fast if you ask me.
