YES, of course I would want to go! I would want a way to get back to real life though. I don't think I'd bring anything; I could get anything I needed while I was there. I'd just want to take my fiance and my cat with me. It would be so much fun!

I would NOT go to Equestria as it would be a hassle living there, I just wouldn't fit. It's just it doesn't seem fit for a human to live there, mainly it seems like it's pretty much a place for ponies and other horse races, etc.

I'd like to think though that a "trip to Equestria" could also be a VR experience, presuming science ever perfects NPC AI's. If they ever do, I could see myself spending a great deal of time in such an environment.

I think I would go to have a look at how life there would be like, but only if there was an option to go back in the human world as well. I'm not sure if I would be comfortable to stay there for all eternity.    Something like a vacation would be nice though, and I probably would bring someone with me.

I might go there just to visit but if you're talking about living there, that's a definitive "NO". At least not right now anyway. I've had my eyes set on a girl from my class at school for months now and I haven't worked up the nerve to ask her out yet. Now that its summer, I won't be able to for about three months or so. I'd want to see how this would be relationship works out first, then I'd decide if I should go through the portal with her or not.

If this question came up a few years earlier, then i would have said yes, but now that im even older and after thinking about it more...i already have big problems with talking to People in real life, i dont think a completely new life with completely new People would do me any good...i think i would feel lost.

Depends, if pony - possibly yes. I would just have to understand how things work a little bit more, and maybe find out how long i'm going to be staying, where, how it's get their currency, etc. Otherwise, i'd have to know where in Equestria i'd want to go. 

 

But if not pony - no, I think that i'd stand out like a sore thumb. I wouldn't want to be subject to the greatest new species discovery that they'd know, and it would be too much of a hassle to explain myself as well as not meddle with anything that i'm not supposed to be changing. 

 

All in all, nice place, but I think that i'd pass. I have so much that I want taken care of here before I go and take a vacation in pony-land.

How could anypony NOT go?? I'd go just because it's a new place that I haven't seen before. But the fact that it's populated by beautiful pastel ponies that talk, do magic and, in some cases, possess a fabulous fashion sense is a bonus beyond my wildest dreams. 

I would go without looking back, and I would take a camera to record all the ponies and the widely varying places they inhabit. Everything else I would need I could get while I'm there. 

If I could go as a pony, so much the better. As a Pegasus I could take it all in from an aerial point of view.

Sure, it's bound to be better than this world. It wouldn't bother me if I'm either still human or transformed into a pony and I'll probably bring some money to convert into bits.
