When I saw the trailer I laughed at how bad it looked, and personally I dont know anyone who is gonna get the game or thinks it looks good (I usualy dont hang around COD fanboys)

Oh no... another game for my classmates to talk about for an entire week.

 

They are always like "CoD is soooo e-peen and cool, dood, u suck cause you don have xbox."

 

And they always get on my case over my obsession of video games...

People at my school talked about black ops all the time (for some reason they were always talking about combat training.) and when MW3 came out people said stuff like did you pre order it or can i borrow it and after about a week people stopped talking about it.

Funny thing is, one of mah friends at school said he "preferred the Modern Warfare games" the day after the Black Ops II reveal came out. Then, he decided to look up the trailer on his Android, and literally 5 seconds into it, he said "Hey, this looks pretty good ". Even a guy like me would've said "You've barely seen any of the trailer -_-"

I'm not really a cod fan anymore ever since I've been running into lobbies with screaming kids, but what I really do enjoy is Zombies and Survival, it's something that me and my friends enjoy so much, it was actually one of the reasons why we kept on playing black ops.

With all the senseless hate these games get, do you ever notice the strange pattern that happens year after year?

Reveal, people hates, game comes out, sells well, next reveal, same haters copy and past criticism, game comes out, sells well, next reveal, copy and paste what you said last year AGAIN, game comes out, sells well.

 

There gets to be a point after so many years of regurgitating the same darn objections when you have to stop and think. "Maybe they sell well because people find them enjoyable...". "Naagh. They're just all sheep! Time to bring up YouTube and call this game I haven't played a cancer again!"

 

If people have complaints, keep them fresh because they are just treading over old water year after year. If you don't like it, move on. These games probably weren't meant for you. The whining is unbearable.

I actually loved some of MW3s ideas. I still play it AND Black Ops to this day.

I kind of have the "Play for what it is" mentality. If I want a fast, chaotic frag fest, I play some MW3. If I want a slower, more patience-driven CoD I play Black Ops. I've never been the type to care "which one was better". Play a game and just have a fun time. All the "It's the same game again, fools!" folk don't seem to understand all the fond memories CoD players have playing with their buds. There's a real social aspect the haters don't take into account.

I dunno if it's just me, but I've noticed something (That may or may not be true). You know how multiplayer is the most popular thing about CoD, right? Well, CoD' multiplayer has been going downhill these last few titles thanks to either the developers or Activi$ion's catering towards newer players, who are more likely to use douchebag setups. They probably do this because this makes CoD more friendly to newer players and will draw in bigger numbers. Unfortunately, this makes the other half of players suffer from people constantly abusing the game's setups and mechanics.

 

Well, from I've heard about campaign, it's going to be extremely different from the previous titles because the game is nonlinear, unlike the old titles which always had the same outcome for campaign. That, and the inclusion of Strike Force missions, in which you can actually FAIL the mission and the game continues anyways (How it goes into the story? We'll found out on November 13th). The way Treyarch is creatng campaign makes it sound like that if multiplayer fails, campaign will be a viable replacement . Plus, Zombies is getting a large revamp, mostly because it runs on the multiplayer engine instead of the campaign one now, but also because there's now 8-player Zombies, a supposed 4v4 type of gamemode in Zombies, most likely the original 4-player version, and maybe some other Zombie gamemodes.

 

Overall, it sounds like that if multiplayer ends up flopping again, the campaign and Zombies will make up for it . Just a thought I have, but that maybe because there hasn't been a a multiplayer trailer yet (Although I saw that Treyarch's Twitter somewhat revealed that a multiplayer trailer may be coming soon )

 

Plus, David S. Goyer is writing the story for Black Ops II, and you may know him for writing the story for The Dark Knight Rises , so that's gotten me excited

I'm sure as sugar not buying it. It looks like the same poopy textures from MW3 and MW2. That's all really COD ever does. New guns, characters, and storyline. I'd rather save up my money for BF4.

Considering my favorite part of the original Black Ops was online Zombies, I'm not too excited about the general multiplayer in Black Ops II. The quality of CoD multiplayer's been slipping for a while, and according to just about everyone I talk to, even Modern Warfare 3 was a major disappointment. The story looks mildly interesting, and a far cry from the first Black Ops, but I'm not putting much stock into it until I see some more features.

You make it sound like it was surprising . By now, everyone should know that MW3's multiplayer is one of the most disliked right now . Hell, even I agree with this, and I'm a big CoD player.

I have come to the decision that I will not be getting Black Ops 2. You wanna know why? Call of Duty continuously releases the same game with a minor graphics boost, re-skinned weapons and factions, and new killstreaks. The campaigns are always about following your mission with a personal vendetta against the main enemy. The characters aren't that great, the stories are never interesting, and Black Ops 2 is just milking zombies because half of the people getting it are getting it "just for zombies." No thank you. I'd rather play WaW zombies or even Black Ops zombies than spend another $60 on a re-skinned Black Ops.
