And there's the Spike dragon arc, where he learns more about his species, whether it's himself or being with others!

S2E10: Secret of my Excess - Learning about his growth spurt.

S2E21: Dragon Quest - Where he learns about typical dragon lifestyle.

S4E24: Equestria Games - Where he realizes his firebreath would depend on his pride and courage.

S6E05: Gauntlet of Fire - Where he learns about the dragon lord, and that there are other good dragons.

And probably more to come!

I would recommend Scare Master under Fluttershy as it gives a slightly unique look at her psychology.

Also, Trixie has a connected three episode arc that is very self referential.

I want to add that I'm impressed. Good job.

How about the Princess Luna arc?  My favourite character, and to my mind, the best single story in the show.

S01E01-02: Friendship is Magic  -  Background of her banishment, and her return to Equestria.

S02E04: Luna Eclipsed  -  Struggling to fit in after returning from her exile.

S3E06: Sleepless in Ponyville                    )

S4E19: For Whom the Sweetie Belle Tolls  ) -  Accepting her role as Princess of the Night.

S5E04: Bloom & Gloom                              )

S05E13: Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep  -  Shedding the burden of her guilt, and finding peace.

I never even thought about the arcs like this. I always just thought about chronologically. Like Season 1 = Gala, season 4 = EQ games and The Box. This is actually really cool. But some of the arcs are gonna be never ending, like Rarity's and Fluttershy's.

i've always considered the "Princess Twilight" arc to also include "The Crystal Empire" and "Keep Calm and Flutter On", since the first introduced Starswirl's journal and the second had Celestia giving Twilight the Elements of Harmony, so they would be nearby when she activated Starswirl's spell.

How about the current arc, the Starlight Glimmer Arc?

  • The Cutie Map Part 1 + 2 (Her first appearance)
  • The Cutie Re-Mark Part 1 + 2 (Her return, backstory and subsequent reformation)
  • The Crystalling Part 1 + 2 (Her new role as Twilight's student, reuniting with Sunburst)
  • No Second Prances
  • A Hearth's Warming Tail

Also might include:

  • Amending Fences (Appeared in the background stalking Twilight)
  • What About Discord? (Also appeared in the background during a scene discussing time travel)
  • Spice up Your Life (Explains how her time travel spell broke The Map, before fixing the map again)

Princess Twilight/The “Box”

  • (Twilight’s NEXT Magic Studies) More or less all of Season 3

--------

  • S3 E13: Magical Mystery Cure
  • S4 E01: Princess Twilight Sparkle, Pt. 1
  • S4 E02: Princess Twilight Sparkle, Pt. 2
  • S4 E08: Rarity Takes Manehattan
  • S4 E10: Rainbow Falls
  • S4 E12: Pinkie Pride
  • S4 E16: It Ain't Easy Being Breezies
  • S4 E20: Leap of Faith
  • S4 E25: Twilight's Kingdom, Pt. 1
  • S4 E26: Twilight's Kingdom, Pt. 2

[bonus]

  • S2 E20: It's About Time

[special]

  • S5 E03: Castle Sweet Castle

I would also add Equestria Girls 1 in between Magical Mystery Cure and Princess Twilight Sparkle for the Princess Twilight arc. My reasons? Well at the start of the film there was this dialog:

Twilight Sparkle: [sigh]

Spike: What's wrong, Twilight?

Twilight Sparkle: I don't know, Spike. I'm just... worried, I guess. Princess Cadance was given the Crystal Empire to rule over. What if, now that I'm a princess, Celestia expects me to lead a kingdom of my own?

(This line foreshadows the Season 4 finale ;))

Spike: That would be awesome!

Twilight Sparkle: No, it would not! Just because I have this crown and these wings, it doesn't mean I'll be a good leader!

By the movie's end, these words were spoken.

Principal Celestia: A true Princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her. (Camera pans over to Humane 5) We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight.

Twilight: I do.

(Later on)

Spike: That crown really does suit you, Princess Twilight.

Twilight: You know what, Spike: I am starting to feel a little more comfortable wearing it.

Spike: And the wings?

Twilight: I've been walking on two legs and picking things up with these! (shows her hands) Wings? I'm thrilled that's all I'll be dealing with back in Equestria.

While not as loved as the main show, the Equestria Girl film DID play an important part in Twilight's arc as Princess.
