That is exactly how I feel, the fans should feel grateful that they are getting something different for once. Starlight was the reason I look forward to every episode now, she makes the episodes different and more interesting for me.

 

 

Pretty much all of her episodes were in my favorites list this season, she definitely feels fresh, and like she breathes some life into the show. Still though...

 

 

 

Also, do you really want to see the same old characters doing the same thing every season?

 

I'd watch the Mane six and their friends for 20 seasons with no complaints. Characters like Starlight getting added create some more variety and expand on what the show can do, but it's good to see the familiar faces as well.

 

 The writer's just need to remember to shake things up a bit and try something new every now and then, or if they reuse an old concept, to put a new spin on it to keep it interesting. Which, at least to me I think they've done a pretty decent job of doing, I haven't gotten bored of any of our main characters yet.

 

 

 

From the looks of it, there's a possibility that Starlight could be the focus for future seasons. I don't even think of her as a secondary character as most of the episodes she appeared has her as the focus and she never really assisted any pony in their episodes. I guess the days of those 6 ponies saving Equestria are all but gone now.

 

 

 I highly doubt this, Starlight's episodes were great, but she still really only got a handful of episodes. The same amount as characters like the CMC or Spike might get in a season sometimes, the premiere and the finale were heavily focused on her, but since this was the first season adding her to the main line-up, that only makes sense, they had to have some focus on her arc.

 

 I imagine the Mane Six will be back to saving Equestria next season, though I certainly won't be surprised if Starlight helps as well.

I thought this season was a bit of a learning curve for Starlight and have her develop as the season progresses, I don't think any pony would be ready to defeat anyone straight away without some knowledge and confidence and who knows, no one can predict what going to happen next year, maybe the princesses and fans will finally recognise her as a main pony. I'm hoping for a major role for her in Season 7.

The writers wanted Starlight to be the focus of the finale and we have to accept that decision even when many are still lukewarm towards her character. Besides, it was a gamble to begin with since secondary characters were the focus instead of the main ones.

I think after you said it, I wouldn't really mind if she was just part of the Mane 7 rather than the main focus. That alone would let me be ecstatic about the direction the show is going.

Meh. I've been spoiled anyway, and considering the premise, I won't watch, seeing how cheaply they've incapacitated the heroes.

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to what I like to see occur in both MLP and Equestria, yet I do have one burning passion that I want to see happen, and that's Sunset reconciling with Celestia. I'm not going to give up on that as such a thing would prove beneficial to both Sunset and Celestia.

Same here, I've seen Silver Quill pull something like that at the end of his After the Fact tribute to Sunset with having her reunite with Celestia, so I'm really hoping the writers consider that at some point in the future in either the series or the Equestria Girls movies.

The writers and other staff members are aware of some of the more ambitious projects created by the fandom, yet they're not really allowed to use those ideas due to the higher-ups at Hasbro not wanting them to. If anything, all they can do is admire what fans have done and come up with a similar concept on their own.

people are expecting someone to rant about the reform of the changeling so here is one.

 

As much I like the who set up and the plot *cough* still not good as season 4 finale but the fact when ALL changelings betrayed their queen is most unlikely to happen.  Especially the facts they grew to their nature not being able to become "loving" and "friendly" They ALL cant just all the sudden become good just because one changeling betray his queen. and THE FACT it is possible there is some royal guard(s) who stay very much loyal to their ruler.  At least one or 10 would still follow Queen Chrysalis bec One. they're loyal, two they're smart they cant live without a queen and three they are just plain bad as their queen. 

 

I'm not convinced and do not want to swallow the fact that ALL changeling and their kingdom now become peace  the equestria   We already lost the dragon to fallen into peace with the equestria.

 

As much i encourage peace on earth though out the kingdoms and them getting along, i think it time to... WAKE  UP!

 

I hoped through at least when QC return they should at least add one or two changelings who is still loyal to her..like him!

No, I can't. Only makes sense that they would be squeamish about stuff that is too scary, dark, or suggestive to be shown in the series.

Agreed, i think to my hunch that QC might reproduce more changelings despite of her losing the whole colony Because HECK she can!  and possibly better and stronger, that would be epic to have the confrontation between hers and the reformed ones.

Fallout Equestria is something of an oddity as I believe it combines MLP lore with the Fallout series. It wouldn't be just Hasbro having an issue with it--assuming they even do--but also the developers behind Fallout. I'm not sure what their stance is on Fallout Equestria but I'm guessing that they are fine with it. They haven't complained about it so far. My Little Portal is something I'm not familiar with so I can't comment on it.
