Right, my bad with forgetting that scene comes before the discovery of the Mane Six and Spike having already been replaced. Thanks for reminding me about that. I keep forgetting how everything worked. Perhaps it will be easier to understand once the transcripts for the finale are done.

I'm curious when it was exactly Twilight and her friends got replaced by changelings.

No one has really said much about Trixie so I'm curious as to what people thought of her presence.

I was on the edge of my seat for this season finale. 
I must admit though, the begining of the first part actually had me underwelmed. 
It gave me the impression that it was just going to be a normal slice of life about Starlight reconnecting with her town ponies.

Which don't get me wrong, would be awesome. But I want something more big, more BOOM! for a season finale. 

 

Then the changeling stuff started happening. That big with Luna in her dream, begging her to go get help. 

 

I loved Trixie in this by the way. We need more Trixie. 

 

I guess I was a bit surprised with the Changeling transformation.

But I'm kinda excited to see the kind of stuff the fan fiction community might be able to make of it.
