Will we get an episode that brings light to that? The idea of Applejack and Big Mac having a child together would never cross the rating though unless they're hinting on that subtly. That would have meant she had her far too young. I am more tempted to believe it is Diamond Tiara, rather than Apple Bloom, who is adopted. Making AJ her aunt.AJ was too young at the time to have had Apple Bloom, but doesnt it sound more reasonable that Big Mac knocked up some pretty girl in his class at school? In that flashback, he seemed to be a troublemaker. cider float 2,538 October 20, 2016 Author Share October 20, 2016 (edited) Filth Rich and Spoiled were still in the process of getting together... no child around and neither was Apple Bloom around even at the lunch table with the rest of the Apples, neither were Applejack's parents were around... Applejack also seems to be very close to Apple Bloom acting like her mother. It could be that Applejack had Apple Bloom with a stallion since we can't even be sure when Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rotten ever had their child either so Applejack couldn't be too young to have a child if it happened a couple of years later when Filthy Rich and Spoiled Rotten got Tiara as well. Glacies Frost 428 October 20, 2016 Share October 20, 2016 (edited) While I wouldn't necessarily mind the writers handling something as commonplace and in need of talking about as teenage pregnancy, I do have to ask a few questions that may make this difficult for the writers. 1) Is there a moral that can be woven about this that a show aimed at a slightly older audience can't do better? 2) While this may make sense regarding Applejack's protective personality, the death of her parents is more than enough reason for her to become so protective. Why would they need to add more reasons on top of that, when it might end up breaking the camel's back? 3) Is there any way they can approach this without going over the children's heads and completely destroying the mental image many hold of the Apple Family as tradition bound and very honest, if somewhat blunt, ponies? 4) What is the creative merit in doing this? Will it further the character growth of either Applejack or Applebloom in any substantial way that other story arcs could not? This implies that her parents had already gone wherever + AB either 1) Hadn't been born yet OR 2) Was elsewhere (a nap, perhaps?) So, for AJ to be Bloom's mother there are several related issues 1) How old was AJ at that time? (She was last on her class & IMO was 15 (but that's another long post) 2) How long ago was that?
