I actually wouldn't do anything. Many of the things she says would end up being accurate so I would simply accept the truth and allow things to fall where they may.

Why would she waste her time trying to ruin my life when she can just remove me? Is she suddenly crippled? If she is not attacking me then I would not care what she says and make myself open to rational discussion. Actions in the end matter more than any words. Can I go as a dragon or a griffin? Going as a human seems quite unpleasant, being practically sterile and all that one-of-a-kind stuff.

 

Anyway, grind some somnambular blooms (canon powerful sedative from Daring Do books) into a sleeping dart serum, insert them darts into a blowgun repeater, get dressed as a badass assassin, execute a non-lethal takedown in the wee hours, cut the horn, force her to look into the eyes of a powerful cockatrice, and make her disappear in some fancy garden far beyond Equestria. The only shame would be that I’d have to dispose of Sunburst too cause I’d have to forge a letter saying the two went on a journey. Plus he’s the only one who would want to look for her for an extended period.

 

Now, would I spare Sunburst’s life? Would I allow those two to spend the rest of their lives together, unpetrified, in exchange for their horns, marks, and unquestionable submission? Who knows.

Uh... um... No. This clearly isn't political.

 

Do you want this to get political? Do you want me to get my links out again? As far as I'm aware, Starlight isn't a powerful untouchable politician and ponies don't mysteriously have "Dumbbell accidents" when they're about to testify against her. But I won't go into that political stuff because I don't want to have Hillary fans abuse the report button youtube-style and get me banned again. I also want ponies to be VERY seperate from politics, I get in enough dumb arguments with willfully-ignorant fangirls on other sites.

 

Also while I dislike the character and dislike how the show handles her more, this seemed like an interesting thought experiment. First JoJo VS Dio stuff, but with ponies.

I'm guessing that by saying that Starlight Glimmer is trying to take over the world, you're saying that it's her pre-reformed self. In that case, I'd probably appeal to Twilight or Celestia first. Maybe I could lend a hand in stopping her evil plan. I wouldn't have magic, but I could certainly build things and pull levers.
