gaming Any Pinball lovers around here?

Lately, i've been sucked back into a pinball frenzy and i realized that pinball has become a bit of a forgotten thing, considering that arcades are no more and there are barely any pubs out there that still own any Pinball Machines.

Anyone still like to play Pinball?

I really enjoy pinball when I get the chance to play it. I've never been very good at it, but it's pretty fun. As of late, I've only seen them around in random older or frugal establishments like certain golf driving ranges and family-owned restaurants, but I play those machines if I happen to have change on me.

Like I said a few days ago elsewhere, I love playing pinball.

My love for pinball is so strong that I'll play a table that's based on something I really don't like, like "The Simpsons"; In my opinion, I never found any appeal in their t.v. show, but their Pinball table is still a Pinball table.

If it's there. I'm going to play. Playing the "arcade machines" can be alot of fun.  Yeah I still play, have an arcade on my XB 360 :D

So You like pinball eh? I Do too! Me and my father collect and restore pinball machines.

We currently have 13 machines that are playable and 2 more in storage. 3 are solid states, and 10 are

electric mechanical!

Hooray for Pinball Players!

I don't consider myself a huge fan of pinball, mainly because the out lanes always screw me over. >_< However! I do love Pinball FX 2, if that counts. So much so, I have a bunch of the tables for it and they are really fun in short bursts. Not only that, but I love the craftsmanship of them and the real ones too. Seeing how they are all put together and the mechanisms involved is so neat. I also like Pinball Arcade, though I don't really own any extra tables for it, it is simply cool that the game has tons of real machines in it. :D

I've used to play the 3D space pinball in older computers, but it's not something I miss much. I mean, with stuff like Arkham Knight and Doom, am I going to cry over pinball?

I can't say that I have played a lot of pinball, mainly because there isn't a lot of places near me that actually have any pinball machines, the few times I did play, I remember enjoying it.

I think I can recall playing a really cool Mario Pinball machine several years ago and having an absolute blast with it.

This just in. My father had just purchased a 1987 Williams "Taxi" pinball machine for $300!!!!

Sure it does need work but it's not to much to where it's playable.

This is what Taxi looks like

Although we got a Taxi, A well desired machine that both me and my father like

is this..........

I love pinball! I don't get to play it very often because, sadly, they're just not that common anymore. I far prefer pinball to video games because I like to see that little silver ball bouncing off those super bouncy paddles and bumpers. It's just nice and real; a real ball and real paddles and I can play with my own touch and feel every nuance. Nothing virtual, just a good physical game. And there's just something about those cool sounds and bells that come from a pinball machine. It just speaks of another, better and simpler time.  :P

Too bad you don't live in the bay area. That's were the Pacific Pinball museum is. :)

Or you could come to the central valley and play some machines me and my dad have :o
