To me, it seems like now it is impossible for Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry to ever become a couple, because the Twilight Sparkle that had a crush on Flash Sentry was a different Twilight Sparkle from a different dimension. And the Twilight Sparkle in his dimension is not interested in him at all and is interested in someone else (who is Timber Spruce). And the Twilight Sparkle from the pony dimension isn't interested in the pony version of Flash Sentry at all, and it could never work out between the Flash Sentry from the human dimension and the Twilight Sparkle from the pony dimension for obvious reasons.

 

So I'm pretty sure that a lot of people who used to ship Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry together are not shipping them together anymore, since now it's almost completely impossible for Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry to ever become a couple.

 

To be honest I hate FlashLight and I am glad that the ship seems like it's dying out.

Technically, the portal-powering device that Twilight used in Rainbow Rocks needs to have the journal (the one linked to Sunset Shimmer's journal) placed on it to have the "door" unlocked; so I wouldn't say 24/7. You would need to contact Princess Twilight via Sunset's journal for the "key" between the 2 worlds.

 

Anyway, I never believed in any "Die For Our Ships" attitudes. It's unfair to hate on a character just because they "stand in the way" of your so-called One True Pairing. It's nice to have an OTP, but not when one uses it to spread hatred towards a character.

 

When it comes to Flash Sentry, I don't care if he gets shipped with anyone or no one, as long as he stays a nice and encouraging guy to his friends.

True, but there are still a lot of people in the fandom that care about the ship being possible or the ship even making sense at all. A lot of people hate it when people ship characters together that will most likely never become a canon couple, and people hate it when people ship characters together that don't make sense being a couple.
