Last time you regularly used Internet Explorer?

The last time I used IE consistently outside of a work setting was... err... 2002 I think.

First browser I ever used wasn't IE. It was Netscape on Windows 3.1. Yeah, that long ago. xD

I know I used it until about 2009 when I discovered Firefox, and I used that until I discovered Chrome, so yeah.

Literally as soon as Firefox came out. So around early 2003. I remember my father showed me this fancy new browser.

Probably about two years ago. My friend was using my laptop to do a quick search online, but when he found me using Internet Explorer, he told me I should use Chrome because it is so much better.

I think the waning years of the first decade of the new millennium. Aka around 2008 when I have switched to Mozilla Firefox.

Microsoft's complacency which prevented on one hand to pursuit a centrally driven improvement of the browser, and the lack of independence of Internet Explorer team to pursuit their own development on the other hand costed Microsoft the browser market.

Basically never. I was born in 2002, so Internet Explorer was already declining in popularity before I even learned how to use a computer.

I stopped using it when I was about twelve, although my mom kept trying to make me switch to Firefox for a long time.

IE is dead thooo, I guess there is edge but nah. I use opera browser mostly then chrome and maybe firefox occasionally.

Literally, I stopped using IE when mozilla firefox 2 came out. The tab thing was what got me hooked on firefox. I'm talking like at least 14 years ago or something like that.

Only in the VERY beginning after I bought my first PC. Discovering Firefox was the best thing, everything became so...fast!! Never looked back.

It is struggling on YouTube recently, but otherwise I am using it. Microsoft managed to get IE all embedded into Windows, so much that I feel odd skipping over the icon, to choose some other browser. Good job on Microsoft monopoly strategy!

I have pushed myself to use Firefox more and more lately, but Internet Explorer icon is tempting to click on, since Windows 7 recommend using it for Internet!
