What is your definition of love?

Love is loyalty and unrelenting dedication. It is refusing to abandon someone regardless of the circumstance and you put that person before yourself.

If you feel your heart flutter every time you see them and you can't tear your thoughts away from them, even years after you start dating, then that's love. It's working things out when something goes wrong instead of laying blame and slowly growing your hatred. They make you feel like an entirely different person; a person you don't hate being, a person who's unfathomably glad to be lucky enough to be born at just the right time to meet your one true love. It's when you willingly put everything about their happiness above your own, and you can't imagine life without them. Love is wanting to protect them from all the bad things in their life, even if it means taking it all on yourself. If you're not willing to do whatever it takes to protect the one you love, even die if necessary, is it even love at all?

I believe you can be in love with more than one person, but this above all else, is what really matters. No matter how many partners you have, you need to be loyal and dedicated to your relationships with them.

People try to dismiss the idea of polyamory as "an excuse to cheat" and ",undermining the sanctity of marriage". :yeahno: What they don't understand is that polyamorous relationships are just like regular ones - and that includes a sense of trust and closeness; if you betray that trust, then you're betraying a family.
