Mane 6 reacting to grimdark fics of themselves

How would the Man6 react to fanfiction that portrays them as murderous and insane?

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy would be scarred for life. Rainbow Dash and Applejack would be unnerved but then they would remind everyone that it's just fanfiction and move on. Rarity would faint and later she would try to pretend that the incident never happened. Twilight would hyperventilate and Spike would have to calm her down because she would undoubtedly remember Lesson Zero...

They would not like it. While I do support the idea of fan fiction, if the rest of us find grimdark upsetting or unnerving, then Mane Six in some fantasy world scenario where they could take a look at it, would either find it creepy or humorous depending on the context, Rainbow Dash would probably laugh at it, but she does have her limits, I don't know about the other five.

Twilight Sparkle may find it offensive, same thing with Applejack, Fluttershy and Rarity.

Pinkie Pie, she'd be frightened off by it most likely.

A fan fiction showcasing this would be hilarious actually, but true at the same time, they would be disgusted with some of the fanfics their fans write about them.

I can imagine it, Rainbow Dash yelling at the top of her lungs about the Rainbow Factory fanfic. She may say something like "What twisted mind came up with this?" *facehoof*

Or she may slam one of her front hooves on a table in frustration, one of the two.

Pinkie would bounce along, eat cupcakes and continue unfazed as though nothing ever happened.

Twilight would analyze it and correct any misspellings and plot anomalies, taking a critical but level-headed stance on it; finding the cause and effects of the dark aspects and working toward a constructive solution.

Rarity would be appalled by such a portrayal of her, and would seek litigation for defamation of character.

Rainbow would find it all awesome.

Applejack would yawn, use a hard copy of the fanfic to prop up a wobbly table leg and then take a nap.

I don't mean to sound stereotypical about this one but I think you're right about Rainbow Dash, given her attitude in the show it is likely she would find edgy fan fictions amusing.

Rarity is the opposite with this one, she'd probably faint if she saw the Little Ms Rarity fan fiction.
