I feel like there might be a lot of you guys here, but I'm just curious. Any other anime aficionados here? My favorite animes consist of:

 

Dragon Ball Z

Sailor Moon

Great Teacher Onizuka

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Project A-Ko

Ranma 1/2

I'm a big fan of the Kinnikuman series!  It's pretty unfortunate that this great series never really stuck with people here in the west...  Vampire Hunter D is pretty cool too, as with many people, my intro to the series was Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, that movie is so beautiful!!  Redline(by the same company who made VHD:B) is a pretty good movie too, it's a movie about futuristic car racing and the ost is pretty damned cool, highly recommend it!!

Been watching A LOT of anime this summer most notable from those include 

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Ghost in the Shell, Kizumonogatari and Overlord

Also some good ones currently on hold Cardcaptor Sakura and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

Yup, I'm an anime fan too. I grew up watching my BBBFF's anime on *GASP* VHS tape! One of my all time favorite movies (Not just anime, out of all of them!) is "Kiki's Delivery Service". It's such a beautiful film. Another favorite "Howl's Moving Castle". Series wise, I love quite a few, ranging from hard science fiction, like "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" to comedy like "Excel Saga", and "Pani Poni Dash". I absolutely love Becky, the little kid teacher!

I don't often have time to get into the episodic series' but I LOVE the movies. My all-time favorite is Your Name, but runners-up are Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle and From Up On Poppy Hill. Also high on the list are Whisper of the Heart, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Kiki's Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro and A Silent Voice. I wish I could name them all but there are so many great ones to choose from. 

Long story short, I adore anime! There are so many surprises that you just can't get in mainstream American movies.

I definitely like anime. There isn't a particular type I'm a fan of, my interests are pretty wide. Some of my favorite ones include

- Haikyuu!!
- Berserk
- Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
- K-On!
- A Place Further Than The Universe
- Saiki Kusuo No Psi-Nan

I have a complicated love/hate relationship with anime. While there are some anime that have become some of my favorite shows of all time, there are just so many terrible cliches in the genre that quickly kill off my enthusiasm for many shows. Even my top favorites suffer from some of these cliches, but they are able to rise above them to still be great.

Some of my top favorites are:

Attack On Titan (My absolute favorite and one of my favorite shows of all time)

Wolf's Rain

Noein

Deadman Wonderland

Trigun

Psycho Pass

And that's it for now. I have other ones lined up for me to start watching, but only time will tell if I like them or not.

I love anime.  My favorite manga is Fruits Basket.  I love Ouran High School Host Club.  Kamisama Kiss is also amazing!

Of course. Chinese cartoons are far better than most of what comes out of the West today imo.

Some of my favorites are Hellsing and Ultimate (duh), TTGL, and, for a newer one, I absolutely loved Made in Abyss.
