smk.png 181 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 (edited) It's self explanatory. Has Mario broken the law? And no, don't bring MatPat into this. I think we should, for committing animal abuse. Edited October 10, 2018 by TheDankBrony 2 All of right-thinking humanity is on my side. Sandwiches are meant to be cut in half. You would never, unless under extreme duress or madness cut a hot dog in half. Picture yourself at a ball park, or even at a restaurant, cutting a hot dog and you will feel an instinctive, entire repulsion at the very thought of it. You can get a soup with a half sandwich, but you’d never serve a half hot dog with a soup. It’s the equivalent of cutting a pizza with a knife and fork. Pashman says anything “sandwiched is a sandwich.” He’s using the derivative verb to describe the sandwich, so he is proving the premise with itself; it is a complete logical fallacy. I hope they’ll openly boo him.
Here No Longer 5,290 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 (edited) That is not for us to say. We don't know what the laws are in the Mushroom Kingdom. As for our law, he's guilty of who knows how many counts of murder... Probably on level with Hitler in terms of freaking body count. A French Derpy full of Salt 404 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 Is there laws in the mushroom kingdom? Is there laws in any Mario World? Is there a law about doors leading into void in New Dong City? Is Princess Peach actually doing her job? WHY IS SHE NEVER THE QUEEN?! I know about disney and queen/princess good and evil stuff, but it's Nintendo! So, no laws, no prison, except if you anger Peach, I think... SparklingSwirls 21,609 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 (edited) Well, the penguins will just respawn I suppose, just like Mario would; death doesn't seem to mean much in the Mushroom Kingdom That being said, dropping penguins is mean, so I'll say yes Edited October 10, 2018 by SparklingSwirls ֍֎֍֎
Sondash Studios 4,879 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 Yup. As a matter of fact, he's in jail now for aggravated death of an innocent, cute penguin. Tell me this isn't the cutest thing you've seen all day?
Ganondorf8 11,813 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 The Mushroom Kingdom does have laws though they do vary from place to place. In this incident, I would see it as the player being a douche which also reflects on Mario given that he is the one doing this. Then again, if you enter the cabin, lose a life, or leave Cool, Cool Mountain, the baby penguin will re-spawn anyway thus resetting everything. Cash In 23,502 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 Maybe... I mean, you don't have to throw the penguin off the cliff. I do it all the time, but I can't imagine Mario doing it on his own accord. At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
Will Guide 21,378 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 Just as long as you don't turn into another MatPat theorist who demonizes video game characters. It's the player's choice, NOT Mario that do these ridiculous nonsensical stuff. 7 hours ago, Usager said: Guilty is the player, mario will go to prison aswell but the player is the mastermind behind that brutality. This guy gets it. He understands how video game morality works. Will Guide 21,378 October 10, 2018 Share October 10, 2018 Technically, practically every video game character player is potentially a criminal by this ridiculous logic. Why is only Mario getting the shaft? There's a reason this trope exists: Video Game Cruelty Potential . It means you have a CHOICE to be bad. The video game world is supposed to be an acceptable break from reality.
