Hey. Sorry about the late response. I got home from work and had to eat dinner. Also, I think the forum was down for a bit earlier in the day today. So, what should I do? Should I wait for  @reader8363 and @DwhitetheGamer? If not, should we all try to meet up to get introductions out of the way?

I was in a journalism class, did a couple interviews for my school, and also did one for college last semester. I also worked on the yearbook three years in a row.

Nothing major, I'm just generally good at reading and writing

That sounds good to me. Although, what did you mean by 'her' house? Did you mean Dynamo's house, or someone else's. Sorry, I was just a bit confused.

Still, I do like the idea. I guess I'll wait for @reader8363 to continue and then go from there? If not, then maybe we can all figure something out? I'm really looking forward to keep going.

Made a typo lol.

Cocoa is probably going to be running an errand for the café when she passes by you. Then conversations happen and the next day occurs and so on and so forth.

Okay and no worries lol. That happens to me when I type something on my phone.

The next day will occur after that? I guess I can see that as the first day is mostly a meet and greet with the new friends. Maybe after meeting with everyone, Dynamo gets settled in and applies for the job off screen and the 'next day occurring' will be a sort of time skip to the next day?

Okay and I hope I'll be able to make it in tonight's posts. I do want Dynamo to meet Lektra and see if he can be there for her as a friend. Even though I can imagine the friendship will be a bit rocky, due to when they learn of what elements they represent. I can see them being good friends, but maybe over time throughout the story.

I can imagine that they'll both become great friends over time and maybe they'll learn that they can't be like the previous users of that element, but be themselves. I do like how Dynamo will study and learn magic from Lektra. I was wondering who he would learn magic from? Seeing how at the moment he knows the standard light spell, a half decent laser and half decent shield. I know that maybe he'll learn not to use magic like Twilight, but a sort of video game magic. Sort of like actual spells from the video games he plays, or something like that. I hope we'll all be able to get to that point. I'm also really looking forward to this RP and seeing where it goes. I also look forward to seeing Dynamo grow as a character. Along with everyone else with character development and become like a team and friends.

Lektra would just know where all the books are. She doesn't know the spells herself. She builds things that are magical. She really only 'knows' one spell with very broad applications. Think of it like being an inventor IRL. You build things, which can do other things. Your ability is the building itself

This would probably all happen in training montages, as well all go about learning and improving. Think about it like it's season 1 of the show, except the threats to the world are more constant

I can imagine. I can see Starlight starting her healing process as she spends time with Dynamo. Seeing a bit of Twilight in him will make her feel motivated to both move on and to help the next generation.

The ironic thing is that Starlight is both a favorite character of mine and a character who's very close to me. Some things happened about two years ago and it felt like she's always been with me, in a way.

Maybe he'll get some teaching from both Starlight and Lektra in a training montage like you said. I can see how the learning and improving comes into play. It's either be ready as quickly as possible, or Equestria is in trouble. 

I do wonder if the story will go very far that we'll see an alicorn, or something like that. I guess I'm overthinking it, but this RP sounds way too much fun to think of ideas.

That's true. If anything, then I could see Rainbow Power becoming more consistent in this story possibly. Seeing how it's not used as often as one thought it would throughout the series. I guess only time will tell.
