pong - sorta a tennis game played with two dials (one per player) and notable for being the first digital game... but lacking a cpu or program; all the game logic was performed by 7400 series TTL chips :)

Yea, very easy to remember. I wouldn't say "playing it" but rather use my toddler hands and drool all over it.

And no, this is not a Nintendo DS. This is way before even Game Boy was invented!

I think it was either Zelda Ocarina of Time or MechWarrior 2, but I can't remember which. I can't remember what happened last week, let alone my childhood.

The first game I've ever played was Tiger Woods PGA tour 2004 on the Original Xbox. I miss customizing my own golf character, like making him/her look ugly af and it made me laugh so much as a kid.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember The Curse of Monkey Island was one of the very first games I played, and then from there I really started to delve into games in general. If you've never played it, you play a sarcastic, lovable pirate wannabee named Guybrush Threepwood, and follow him on his many misadventures on his quest to destroy the fearsome zombie pirate LeChuck. It's the third game in the series, but you don't miss out on too much if you start with this one. I've got a very big place in my heart for point-and-click adventures because of this series!

Toss between two. We were a Sega Genesis family growing up, and the first games I remember playing on it were Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and Evander Holyfield’s Real Deal Boxing.

Probably Pong or some Atari 2600 game. Forgotten which specifically.

Indeed. Pong for me - because it was literally the only video game in existance at the time :)
