"Well, because this is more of a jungle/dino world, I could only summon stuff related to the world. If this world had some sort of modern tech, I could make something really cool. The strongest air unit I can summon is a pterodactyl, so having one of those rocs on our side would be much needed. We could defeat the boss faster and rocs have higher health in comparison to a pterodactyl rider." Thundy explained.

In Level 2,
...
Trilby didn't have anything to do until his team finally caught up with him. He hope it wouldn't take too long. For now, he is just waiting.

And waiting...

He looks at the velociraptor that was left for him. With a bit of apprehension, he reaches out to pet its head. "...So, do I feed you or something? Will you eat out of my hoof without, you know, actually eating my hoof?"

@ExplosionMare. @Windy Breeze, @C. Thunder Dash, @GeneralDirection, @PawelS

In the skybound hubworld,
Elusive Facts is just as awe struck as her new team. "Wow... If this place were real, this would be the scoop of a life time!"

Together, they all begin to explore, never getting too far away from each other in case of getting lost. This looks like it might take a while, until Elusive does the obvious. She asks a random NPC. "Excuse me, do you know where the Bonus Level entrance is?" She asks. Gladly, the NPC points the way. They ALL do! "Well, that makes things easy. Right, team?" Guess it makes sense. If this place is paradise, then everyone here would be super nice and helpful.

And following the directions of these NPCs leads them to a sacred alcove just outside a palace of golden clockwork. The portal to the Bonus Stage waits, and so does Tree Song.

Tree Song watches in awe as the train moves through the sky. It looks like a giant flying snake. Some time later she sees the players approaching her on their unusual assortment of creatures. This brings a smile on her face, but when they get closer, she makes a more serious expression, ready to play her role.

She stands in front of the portal with spread wings, truly a majestic sight to behold. She changes her voice, trying to sound more intimidating, at which she fails miserably (and adorably). "Welcome, travelers. I'm the Angelic Gatekeeper, guardian of this here portal." For some reason, this situation seems funny to her, but she tries to remain serious. "What brings you here, strangers?"

The team arrives on the island the train stops with a soft hiss of its wheels. Pencil steps off the train cautiously, making sure not to lose her balance and fall. Of course, it was very unlikely that she would fall given that there was plenty of ground space around the train to land. Once she was secure on the island ground, she beckoned her creatures to follow her, their wings beating excitedly as they hopped off the train.

Pencil took a moment to wander around, and admire everything around her. Everything looked much better closer up; the vibrant island flowers popped with color, the pure gold sand shimmered spectacularly, and the grassy vines that hung over the small cliffs shined like emeralds. If Pencil’s real magic was able to work here, she would create paper and a pen and draw all of this magical scenery. For now, she guessed she would just have to commit everything to memory.

After Pencil trotted around enough, she ran over to Elusive to rejoin her and the team so she wouldn’t get lost. Elusive had asked for directions and all the NPCs were glad to help her out. Pencil thought it was a little creepy that they all banded together like a school of fish, but at least they seemed like a nice group. The group had pointed them to an elaborate golden gate, an entryway to Level 2 via portal. Pencil cautiously trotted up towards the portal, her creatures timidly following her.

Before the team actually made it past the portal, a mare with an unusually deep voice greeted them. The mare’s greeting was a bit odd as Pencil couldn’t quite determine the tone in her voice. She also couldn’t tell if she was just an NPC or some sort of villain character. Pencil hoped for the former. To prove her prediction, she asked,

“So, uh, Ms. Gatekeeper, are you joining us in the level or are you gonna keep standing at the gate? Just wondering,”

The velociraptor looked at Trilby and sort of purred at him, leaning into the pets.

Chelsea got on her water dragon and got out the train. "Wow, this is quite the scenery here..." She said as she looked around. Chelsea heard Pencil ask the gatekeeper if she was going to join them through the level.

While Tree Song does want to go with them, and hopes the portal will let her in this time, the answer she got is not what she wanted to hear at this stage. "We will talk about it later." It's not easy, but she manages to maintain the same serious tone as before. "Now I should decide whether I let you in or not, so tell me something that will help me make the decision. Why are you here? What's your quest?"

Pencil frowned in confusion. It seemed like the question was not completely answered, unless she was missing something. Also, Pencil didn’t know this pony well, so she had no idea when the two would “talk later”. Did she mean later as in after the level or right before it began? Pencil had a lot of questions but she would not ask them, as there were more important things about to happen. Namely, the challenge of entering the portal.

Tree Song, being a good guardspony, had asked why the team was at the gate in the first place. Since Pencil wanted to enter as soon as possible, she replied,

“Oh, we’re just here on a little mission. We’re looking for things to collect so we can be prepared for upcoming battles,”

Still dissatisfied with the answer, Tree Song tries to make the question more clear. "I mean in a more general sense. Why are doing all this, who do you fight against, and what's your ultimate goal?"

Dealing with the Pteridactls soon became a non issue When the one who chugged a potion did it again and this time turned into a lightning roc. Any thing that got too close was zapped with the only exception being the other rocs. It quickly flew around until it dive bombed near the car sending off its last bit off electricity in a shock wave that temporaritly stopped the car. It becomes stuck and begins to flail a bit before stopping, then it repeats a pattern of flailing and stopping. That specific Roc still has a singular potion.

The other (non leader) has two (one got mcsnatched) and the leader still has all of them.

The other Rocs are swooping very close by snapping at car and folks but they don't seem to have a pattern like the the one which is stuck.

Thundy was immune to the zaps. He therefore gathered some electricity and summoned a mobile trebuchet. It took some time, but be managed to aim it at the lightning roc and hit it, dealing quite a bit of damage since the stone that was launched was covered in thick mud. Feeling the jeep slow down, Thundy sent a current through the battery, which cleaned it out of any disruptive currents. Thundy still had his eye on the leader roc. "I'm still gonna try to get that leader roc on our side." Thundy said.

I'm not sure how you know the status of these Rocs, but I guess I'll take your word for it." Dynamo responded, while looking back up towards Pastel. As he gave a worried expression to the young mare, he looked back down towards the male griffon. "Are you going to wait for Pastel, or are you going to leave her behind. If it's the latter, then at least leave me a ride so I can stay with her. We have to find Trilby, but I'm not leaving a friend behind."

The blue unicorn's ears perked as he heard a sort of crackling sound. His eyes darted back to the roc's who had drank the potion to gain lightning abilities. "You've got to be kidding me. First one breathes fire and now one has lighting? What kind of abilities are in those potions?" He says, giving a concerned look at Pastel. "Be careful, Pastel-chan! That electricity doesn't look too friendly! Try to regroup if you can!" He called out to her, before the attempt at a dive bomb from the roc stopped the car. "Do you have any good ideas on getting out of this. Those Roc's look like they want an early dinner and we're the main course." He says, while the other roc's began swooping in very close to them. Dynamo's eyes widened as the male griffon had his eye on the roc leader. "Are you crazy!? How do you expect to get that Roc on our side?" He asks, wondering what the griffon had in mind.

Thundy took one hand off the wheel, and picked up one of his swords. He gathered some electricity and morphed it into a special staff with a purple gem on the end of it. He eyed the leader roc and twirled it around several times. He fired a pulse that disrupted the neural signals of the roc so that way he could fire the pulse that would ultimately bring it on their side. He hoped that the roc didn't have a counter. "Let's hope this works. I've disrupted it's neural signals to clear it's mind. Hopefully this next shot would do it." Thundy stated.

@Kronos the Revenant

The wheel spun and spun. As if the game was sentient, it clicked right off of "FREE MONEY" at the last possible nudge and strait to "POP QUIZ"

"Oh KAY my friend! Pop quiz, this is for 30,000 bits! Your question is... Do rich ponies eat caviar?"

--------

@Dynamo Pad @CameoShadowness

Pastel winked back at Dynamo, assuring him she would be alright. She looked at the roc with the remaining potion. Stealing may have worked before, but they seemed smart, she may end up getting taloned or blew up if she tried again.

Trying to take them by surprise, she smirked and threw a dagger straight at the potion, like a dart towards a dartboard!

Kronos looked in disappointment as, of course, the obviously rigged wheel dicks  him over with a pop quiz over free money. I mean, what else would anyone expect? Now, the question...ponies eating caviar? In all the time he’s spent around the ponies of Equestria, he’s never seen any of them, not even the snooty high-class ones, eating fish eggs. However, that seemed like the obvious answer. Then again, it was true, he never heard of ponies eating meat, let alone eggs, barring of course baked goods.

With a shrug, Kronos answered “No.”

In Level 2,
It's not long before Trilby has found some food growing in the surrounding vegetation, and he is feeding it to the velociraptor that was summoned for him.

"...Did those idiots forget about me? They should have been here, by now! I swear, they are lost without me." Trilby huffs. Seems he has no choice. "Fine. They better not blame me if we can't find our way back here." Trilby sets his staff down near the cave entrance. "Please be like some kind of homing beacon or something..." Then he gets on the dinosaur. "Okay you mighty beast of old, do as your name implies and put some VELOCITY in those feet of yours! Yah!" Trilby commands it, wanting to be taken back to Thundy and the gang.

It isn't long before they hear the faint sound of Trilby's voice and the tiny visage of him appearing over the horizon. "HEY!!! THUNDY, DYNAMO, PASTEL!!! OVER HERE!!!"

In the skybound hubworld,
Tree Song may have fooled everyone else, but Elusive Facts wasn't so easily fooled. "Hello again, Ms. Tree." She waves. Making her microphone appear, Elusive stands side-by-side with her. "I am Elusive Facts, standing here with the guardian of the city in the sky, Ms. Tree Song. Is it true that you secretly have a thing for the champions of the Justice King? Perhaps the Dark King is bribing you to make sure no one gets through this portal? Please, tell us more. Inquiring minds at home want to know! A gallery of champions risked LIFE and LIMB to make it here! Does this mean their sacrifice was for naught?" Elusive Facts asks before holding the mic close to Tree.

...She's not being recorded at all right now, but maybe if she acts like a reporter and puts Tree on the spot, it'll have an effect.

Tree Song had her own vision of the Angelic Gatekeeper's role in the game. It involved inquiring the players, and their answer should be something like an epic speech describing that they're on a quest for a noble cause, fighting the forces of evil. But she decides that what she heard now is enough. Using her altered voice for the last time, she says: "Do not worry, I just wanted to make sure that your intentions are good. Using my angelic powers I can tell that you're speaking the truth. You may pass." She steps aside, allowing the players to enter the portal. She goes back to her normal voice and explains herself: "It is I, Tree Song, nice to see you again. Sorry about all that masquerade, I just felt that I should fulfill my role in the game properly. Now if you don't mind, I'd like to enter the level with you. I tried to do it before and it didn't let me, but I hope now, when you're all here, it's possible for me to join you."

Even though the other two potions had positive effects it seems as if that was because they were ingested. With this one simply breaking, it caused the Roc to be covered in strange beautiful plants and you all gain extra EXP suggesting that one Roc was done.

The other Roc cries out in pure rage. The leader Roc seemed to acknowledge the tiny cry but shrugged it off as it had to focus on Thundy. Even with a clear mind, it was not gonna play nice. It quickly jugged one of the potions before vanishing. The other Roc loses it and goes wild.

The now invisible Leader Roc still casually swoops down but this time actually piking up pastel and soaring high into the sky before dropping her. It swoops down again and tries to grab the others and do the same throwing the team out of wack.

A bell rang, and the neon LCD screen showed a smiley face, indicating Kronos was indeed correct.

"CORRECT! Rich ponies in fact eat BULLETS!"

The dragon laughs merrily and pulls out a machine gun, shooting the ceiling just above Kronos' head. A ocean of gold falls down and buries him like in a Loony Toons cartoon. The gold was just for show, however; the actual 30000 bits was added directly to Kronos' inventory to fund his evil schemes.

"Thank you for joining us on this exciting edition of the JOKERS WILD! Join us again next time where we'll be giving away golden tickets for a fabulous summer vacation, and a hellish pit of fire!!!"

And with that, the non existent studio audience applauded and the camera zoomed out, trying to take Kronos with it like a Lakitu.

When the weird dragon shouted “BULLETS” and pulled out a machine gun, Kronos immediately went on the defensive and smashed a huge chunk of earth in front of himself, bracing for whatever the dragon had in mind.

Suddenly, the pile of gold dropped on top of him, and Kronos was definitely not prepared for that. The gold then suddenly disappeared and went automatically into his inventory. When he saw the camera was trying to take him along, he took a screwdriver and unscrewed himself from the fixed camera angle, as if playing along with the dragon’s antics.

“Okay,” Kronos said to himself, “30000 bits. What the hell would I do with this all the way out here?”

It takes a moment for Trilby to get close to them all, but he does. He slows his raptor down and he sees the three of them facing off against... something.
They are facing off against an invisible beast, but to Trilby, they might as well be doing interpretive dance.
"...What are you all doing, charades?! Dynamo, I found the cave that'll lead us to the boss! Whatever you're all fighting, forget about it! We can lose it on the way to the cave. Just follow me, please! I think I can lead us back there."

At the center of this open-world are three big blocky mounds that could turn into metal towers, eventually. They also have a few puzzles on them, similar to rubik's cube puzzles. Solve them, and the towers will gain height and form.

Elusive Facts looks around and smiles. "A race? Put a tower together? Now THIS is my kind of challenge! Good luck, everyone else! You're gonna have to bring your A-game if you want to finish a tower before me." With her confidence restored, Elusive Facts summons her motorcycle and drives off. Summoning her whip, she uses it to grab and dig for construction blocks, and throws them at the center tower. The items automatically latch on and start building the tower up taller! It really is as easy as Minecraft. Mine for the blocks, place them anywhere on the unfinished tower of your choice, and keep going! And Elusive is really good at this so far. She's grabbing lots of blocks left and right.
