I put ice on my hot coffee and drink it! it has this weird hot and cold feel to it it's a very weird experience but a nice one. you expect it to go warm or something but nope. it's hot and cold at the same time....  just make sure when you put the ice wait for only 5 sec or what not and make sure that the water is not boiling hot... just enough for you to drink and not burn your tongue. and enjoy the weird experienc.

Go ahead and grab some :BrightMacContent:coffee, you don't know what you're missing:squee:

Coffee is addicting though.

Classic Example: I used to think cigarettes tasted bad, but after a cool smoker friend of me said "go ahead", I still think they taste bad but I now have a whole in my wallet!

  • 2 months later...

I've never put ice in hot coffee (is this a thing people do?) but I've chilled coffee down to room temperature and then put it in the fridge overnight - saw a bodybuilder on instagram claim that this method of preparing and drinking coffee was allegedly somehow healthier (less inflammatory maybe, can't remember what the claim was) so wanted to try it. Felt absolutely no difference and will not be doing it again.

I have actually never made my own coffee :sealed: I don’t even know how most coffee makers work…

I buy coffee maybe once or twice a month, when I really need it.

And no I have never put ice in hot coffee, but an iced latte is refreshing on hot summer days.

Adding ice would be like adding water. I don't think coffee would be good by adding more water to it after it is made. Waiting until the coffee is cold, or placing it in a refrigerator might be better.
