It's a Pony Kind of Christmas Album - What Are Your Thoughts On It?

As we head into the Hearths Warming/Christmas Season, an album I always have to listen to to get me in the mood is the underappreciated gem, It's A Pony Kind Of Christmas.  It's especially amazing for me because of how much I love the Mane Six and to hear them all get their individual moments as well as the title track talking about their Friendship makes it an amazing journey for me.  They range from emotional (Days Gone By, Silent Night) to character fun (We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, Jolly Ol St Nick, Deck the Halls) to plain hilarious. (Twelve Days of Christmas)

What are your thoughts on it and which song is your favourite? And if you haven't listened to it, please do! You won't regret it. 

It is a bit jarring to hear them calling it Christmas after getting so used to them calling it Hearths Warming.

It's non-canon because they are singing about Christmas, but nevertheless it's a good album, the songs are arranged and performed well. My favorite is "Deck the Halls" sung by Rarity.

It's a really good album. I found it on spotify by complete accident a few years ago and ended up really liking all the songs on it. My favourite has always been Days Gone By, but I love Silent Night and Jolly Ol St Nick.

It's a really great album. One of the best techniques was assigning specific characters to songs, and boy...they matched it almost perfectly: Fluttershy with Silent Night, Rainbow Dash with a modified version of Jingle Bells...Major Kudos to Ingram and company for this amazing work.

Out of all the songs on the album I like "Last year I got coal for Christmas" as it's 100% original not based on a cover and not a song from the show.

Feels like something completely new that I consider a Christmas on classic about a naughty child learning to improve their behavior
