It's obscure but Simon & Milo when I was real young, you may know them as Prozzak, or from Saturday Morning People.. , got the CD from a toaster strudel box when I was real young, it's a band that have animated personas/ animated videos so I was really into it... I ended up ordering two CDs and even had plushies that came with it bc I loved the song from the strudel box so much lol ..

Hollywood Undead,Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin,Papa Roach,Smosh,Marilyn Manson and Shinedown. These are all the bands I listened to when I was 7-8 years old

It's funny bc I didn't know whether or not I should get into my highschool music taste as I would technically be a minor but I wasn't a "child" lol, I bridged I probably started getting into numetal bands like slipknot and korn when I was 11 or so, but I was really into Breaking Benjamin, got a BB tattoo, also really had a thing for Atreyu and these music tastes became more prominent through out my teen years, but as an actual "kid" literally smashmouth bc Shrek lmao, nah I was into some stuff ppl have to this day some how never heard of, and then I liked Disney music lmao(still do, some of the best music that exists, but I mean even a lot of the live action stuff I really loved to back in the day)..

Pre-teenage years I don't know. I had No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom" CD because I liked "Don't Speak". I mainly listened to what my family did throughout the 90s, and they mostly listened to older music from the 70s and 80s, so I didn't get a lot exposure to the music concurrent with my childhood.

In my early teens I began listening to radio of the hits of the time. I really liked Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Avril Lavigne, 3 Doors Down, Linkin Park, Staind, etc. In my mid teens I switched back to my parents' music and especially liked soft rock like Bread, America, The Eagles, Air Supply, Jim Croce, etc. I'm not 100% sure why I did this, I think maybe the pop stations at that point (mid 2000s) were beginning to play too much "dance" pop and rap for my liking. Either way, it's funny how much that change back to old music has drastically effected my music tastes ever since.

I've always been kind of picky and enjoyed an artist's individual works over albums.

As a child, that would have put "Soak Up the Sun" by Sheryl Crow and "Follow Me" by Uncle Kracker as the two longest running because of their association with my parents.

I also jammed out to some Naked Brothers Band for anyone who remembers that stint from Nickelodeon. :D

As a child I loved the Spice Girls, Madonna and Britney Spears because of my mom and sister playing them. As far as bands go I liked ZZ Top because my grandfather played them all the time
The Offspring and KISS because of my dad playing them a lot.

This was my jam though

The Offspring.

Literally my first memory is me strapped to a car seat in the back of my parents van while they blasted the Americana cassette.

The selt titled, Smash and Ixnay on the Hombre were around at different points. But it wasn't until Conspiracy of One came out and then they became my favorite band. I didn't really have many others, I was a musical late bloomer. So many of my other favorites didn't happen until my teens.

Hmm, good question. What did I listened back in my childhood? Well, one of my favorite bands was Linkin Park. It was one of the first bands I ever heard and the start into my interest into rock and metal music. There were also other bands like Die Ärzte (german punk band) or Limp Bizkit. Before I started to listen to rock bands, I was more a fan of eurodance and electro music. One DJ I listened often was italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino. I can not rememebr all the names of the DJs, singer and bands I listened back than.

I mostly listened to my parents’ or grandparents’ music, and my favorites were Mitch Miller, Jack Jones, The Andrews Sisters, Teresa Brewer and a few others. I still like a lot of the same stuff all these years later, but I’ve expanded on the old playlists quite a bit.

Jack Jones is still my favorite male vocalist ever, and I love all his pre-1970s albums. Loved them as a kid and I love them now.

Well the first artists the drew me into what I love now. Breaking Benjamin first and foremost & Disturbed's Land of Confusion album my older cousin gave to me in 2004. BB were the first band I followed after till their split in around 2008. Bought all their albums on release throughout those years. 2005 I bought AC/DC's the Razors Edge and they basically became my favorite from then on.

Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Red & 3 Days Grace all together was the first concert I ever went too in 2007. Love all of those artists however 3 Days Grace I kind of stopped liking them... as the years passed. Then yeah that's my history of what I liked and like now.

I loved listening to The Beatles as a little one. I also distinctly remember going through a Backstreet Boys, Smash Mouth and S Club phase back then.

Throughout my adolescent years, I loved Weezer, Nirvana, Avril Lavigne, 3OH!3, Bowling For Soup, All-American Rejects, Stabilo, The Wanted, Bon Jovi, Joan Jett, Cher, Bryan Adams, AFI, Cascada, Fall Out Boy, Santana and La Roux. There were others, but these are the only ones I can remember right now. :P

Collective Soul, 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20, Saliva, Seether, Fuel, Chevelle, Beck, Linkin Park, The Offspring, Nirvana, Puddle of Mudd, 10,000 Maniacs - all on the radio when I was in the 4th grade.  When I wasn't listening to rap, it was one or more of the above.

Planetshakers was a common household name for me back in 2007 but my mom was christian so pretty much that was my childhood then but i still listen to this amazing band but the older stuff is better then what they have now - If you never heard of them they are perfect with their arrangements back then and their drummer was a huge inspiration for me as a kid into middle school and i'm one now cause of hearing his drumming a lot in their albums back then

I think the first ever albums i listened two from the band was All That I Want and Pick It Up when I was 1 and i remember All For Love being released in 2008 when i was 2 all those are great albums from what i remember  but as i got to high school i discovered more of their albums but the band's i discovered over time was Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons throughout  elementary middle school  and i started listening to Linkin Park just sometime in 2019 and that's when i started to listen to pop-punk to lofi & hard rock and alternative from the 90's to the early 2000's  but  Hoobastank , Vertical Horizon , Evanescence , Savage Garden , Incubus , Ween , Primus , RCHP,  Breaking Benjamin , Blink-182 and Sum-41 , Korn and Rammstein and Marilyn Manson came through halfway through softmore into senior year

on the side note i graduated

some other artists i discovered over time also where Nico and Vinz , Avril Lavigne  and possibly some Taylor Swift *i'm no swiftie so oof*  and a ton's of pop artists i remember too well

Not sure 11-13 count as a child but I used to like the Spice Girls, usually I enjoy some music than get into band/singer/group but with Spice Girls, well Posh Spice was my favourite, also like Baby Spice but not like Mel B.

I think I like Michael Jackson as little kid, remember collect her stickers and put them on sticker book, remember picture of her like she fully white as he was black. Also I thought he was a woman cos he look like one well I was a kid.

Some times I see people get obessive with singer, band or group more, but some just like music/some songs.
