Can Alicorns and unicorns impale someone using their horn?

I never saw an alicorn or unicorn impale someone using their horn, But any thoughts?

I doubt they would have ever shown that happening in a show that was made for children,  but it wouldn't surprise me if that were actually possible in their world and that it has happen b3fore.

Yeah, I would say it hurt, allegedly. Not that I have any experience with it. Not in a childrens show of course. Not other ponies or creatures, but items sure.

Silicone pads are used in practice suture kits as a skin substitute. Silicone is softer than rubber, which tennis balls are made out of with a surrounding layer of felt. So if Izzy can peirce a tennis ball with her horn, she can absolutely get through skin, and the rest of that meaty goodness!

Hey. I am new here. (Wanted to reply to this. :p)

According to some lore I've read on unicorns, impaling people with their horns was a method of testing the virtue of people in their immediate vicinity, as people who were not pure of heart, or no longer had their innocence, weren't permitted to be near to a unicorn. Those with a pure heart would survive the ordeal through some magical means, and those that weren't... well, I think you get the picture.  :p
While I cannot find any information regarding this particular "behavior" (I didn't search very thoroughly either), I did find this article wherein they talk of historical accounts of unicorns impaling other living things in defense of itself or its young.
