Hello there, my little ponies! As you know, we normally do the big event of

 Making Christmas Merrier!

It was one of my first and favourite events of which I have always enjoyed running. I love seeing Event Coordinators, Moderators and Administration work together to bring you fun, silliness, events and union as well as warm memories to hold onto during the cold seasons.

Together we have donated over $3000 to the BBC Children's hospital while celebrating the holidays together, making memories, singing songs + challenges and plenty of other unions and banter.

Right now, with everyone focusing on their personal lives -- and some HUGE life milestones going on -- Congrats to @Sir Hugsalot @Mercury @Simon@Cash In and everyone else taking on huge life events -- while balancing the time to help out here on the forums.

Last year, despite my moments away -- @Sir Hugsalot and he managed it flawlessly along with @Dynamo Pad who took the front of the scene and the lovely art of @Treeglow Flicker  which decorated the event beautiful. I just wanted to thank all of you in staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make these things work. @Espy Vibe @GeneralDirection@Sophie @Samurai Equine @Nitobit @Rikifive @Aticus the Adequate @SCS and all of you who prefer to remain anonymous despite your hard work <3

Random facts about Tree Song:

1. She is named after the special ability of the Elves in a fantasy mod for Civilization 5 I was making (but never finished). That ability produced extra culture from forest tiles.
2. She was originally made in Pony Creator.
3. She spent several years of her life in Manehattan, because her parents worked there. As a nature loving pony, she didn't like living in the big city.
4. She doesn't like rollercoasters. Just looking at one makes her dizzy.

I don't have an OC that I regularly use, so I give facts about myself instead!

- I love video games (I play tons and love many genres, the ones I've played recently are Fortnite, Palworld, Genshin Impact, and Minecraft)

- favorite music is rock, metal and EDM

- I like to socialize and have fun with friends

- my fav season is summer, but I love things in winter too like snow and Christmas!

This is always a fun event and I can't pass up on this!

Fun facts about myself and my OC? Hmm...

1. My overall favorite Pokemon are Alolan Ninetales and most recently Terapagos.
2. My OC and I love hugs, especially tackle hugs.
3. My favorite pony from the mane 6 in G4 is Fluttershy, overall is Starlight Glimmer and from G5, it's Pipp Petals.
4. I love video games and some of my favorite genre include action/adventure, fighting games and RPG/JRPG's
5. My favorite game franchise is Pokemon. If I had to pick a franchise that wasn't Pokemon, then I would say the Kingdom Hearts series.

Yay! But I'd rather not do chaos lol, I just find it too disorganized and too unpredictable - I would much rather prefer order now, but there does need to be a balance of the two because too much order leads to no fun and too much chaos leads to no relaxing. To be honest though I don't focus on either, I just focus on having a good time because that's what matters most!

1. My OC created by an accident, I was supposed to use the Pony Diffusion V4 to generate Octavia Melody, and the AI generated this pony.
2. Because I love lemons, I really like her colour. Ergo it was decided to use her as my OC. And then I drew a picture of her for the Derpibooru 2024 Community Collab
3. She was the first character I ever drew on a digital tablet.
4. I drew her body with reference to Sunny Starscout from the MYM, and the shape of her tail is exactly the same as Sunny's.
5. I didn't have a good idea when it came to designing her cutie mark, I was visiting a math education website at the time and chose to use the mathematical symbol 'τ' as her cutie mark.

Hmm... Random facts about me and my OC... Let's do three each!

1. Despite the username, I'm not actually Asian. I'm passionate about Japan and know a lot of things, but I'm actually Half White, Half Mexican.
2. I have such a weakness for gummy candies. Fruit flavored stuff is always nice, but I just love gummies. Use to go through a big taffy phase, but gummies are where it's at.
3. I actually have TWO OC's!

4. Samurai Equine is not his birth name. He changed his name when he became a samurai. Also, he had a fun nickname as a child.
5. Canonically, Samurai Equine is dead. ☠️💀 He lived a long time ago, and therefore he should only be a spirit at best. But when it comes to roleplays, I usually play as an alternate version of my OC, one that lives in modern times instead.
6. Samurai wishes he could fly. He's a little envious of pegasi and flying creatures. Not bitterly jealous, just envious.

7. Trilby Hatter, my other OC, is closer to me IRL. Still very much a fantasy character, but still closer to the real me.
8. Trilby would love to be a big hero in big adventures, but he's actually kind of a big zero. 
9. If Trilby and Samurai meet, Trilby will automatically hate him for no real reason whatsoever. Why? Because I think it's funny~.

Ok This sounds interesting, lets try it!

Here is some random facts about Chatterbox

 

1) She was created specially for the Ask a Pony section of the forums, she is a journalist that makes interviews there so ponies feel they are speaking with a professional journalist

2) She is the one that has the most GIF reactions to make the interactions more proper and dynamic

3) She likes capuccino and cookies, she spends a big part of her day in cafeterias while she is doing her job

4) She is a great admirer of Rarity and Luna, she made her eyelashes to look like her. 

5) Despite her name, Chatterbox doesn't speak too much, what she does actually is to talk as many ponies as possible, she is very social for the sake to have good stories to tell

6) She has a Betty Boop type of voice

7) She is very sensitive, is easy to make her laugh, cry or be angry, despite that she has always good intentions

8) She do loves gifts and small details, if somepony hurts her, she always forgive the aggresor and hides away

 

As for myself :

1) Everything I learned about animations, drawings and stories, I learned myself, I dont consider myself an expert but I always willing to help those who want to learn as well

2) I'm too perfectionist, if a small detail is to be changed I do it

3) Im very selfless, I care for my family, friends and loved ones before me, I have a phrase that goes "If I cannot be happy, then I'll make others happy... which will make me happy" and it works!

4) I love to give gifts, make people happy due the previous point

5) I love sci fi stories, specially related to AI, simulated worlds, robots and androids, it is the most realistic Sci-fi for me

6) I have a lot of stories to tell and with the except of Chatterbox, all other OCs are ponified versions of characters of stories am working such as Rethajni, Kramathia or Dalmariah

7) I am extremly clean, always try to look nice, smell nice and be nice in general, take care of my skin, my teeth, my hair etc. am a bit like Rarity in that aspect

8) I am very curious, and I mean VERY curious, always want to learn about stuff and try them myself, sometimes for the best, sometimes for the worst
