My critique-

• Pretty basic design, but also at the same time unique.
• The eyes... kind of wish they were Rarity's eyes, and not as if she was a soulless puppet.
• The material used makes it look extremely soft and huggable.
• The mane and tail are almost impossible to make... but your friend almost had it spot on.
