Zelda games in a nutshell for me.

 

I did beat Wind Waker however, it really was a marvelous work of art and I actually enjoyed the ocean sailing. Took a couple months break somewhere in there though after getting stuck in a dungeon.

 

Yes I'm horrible at Zelda games.

You think Fire Temples are bad? Hoo boy, you haven't played a Water Temple I suppose since Wind Waker was the only one you beat and Fire Temples almost always come before Water Temples.

Water Temples tend to be massively intricate. How hard they are depends on the player though, some have tons of trouble with Twilight Princess' water temple while I've never had a single problem with it. Then there's the Ocarina of Time water temple which I used to hate but never gave up on the game because of it. Master Quest water temple however...lol

Ah The legend of Zelda. An epic and pioneering gaming series. I am not ashamed to call myself an avid fanboy of the Zelda series. And for good reason, Zelda games are considered to be the best ever made!

To start us off, I have recently been in possession of Skyward Sword the latest in the series. So far it's pretty good, and the controls don't seem all that bad. Skyward Sword has been copping it on viewer reviews saying the controls are broken. What is your opinion on this? And for those who have finished the game, answer us the ultimate question: could Skyward Sword be better than Ocarina of Time?

I must say the Legend of Zelda series has always been a close one for me. My first one was Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64.

A list of all the games I own / owned:

- Ocarina of Time

- Majora's Mask

- Minish Cap

- Wind Waker

- Twilight Princess

- Skyward Sword

 

Twilight Princess is definitely my favourite of them all, I favour the dark style and art to LoZ. Really suits the atmosphere and Link looked really awesome~

I got Skyward Sword for Christmas but, I dare say, have played 15 minutes of it in total. The last thing I remember doing is getting the practice sword. I'll get around to it I swear!

I've only played 3 of the LoZ games(Link to Past, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword), but this series is one of my overall favorites! I just love the open world, epic adventure feel! You can always go back to get things you missed and make your Link stronger and more capable to fight and travel.

I know im putting a target on my back, but i cant really stand Zelda anymore. I loved The ocarina of time but i feel as thought the series should have matured into something great but i feel as though the game has stayed much to similar

I love Zelda, it's just the best. Skyward Sword and LttP are my two favorites, but OoT is great too, if not a bit overrated sometimes imo. The Gamecube titles were great too, including Four Swords Adventures. Overall, I guess I like all the Zelda games except the NES titles, played the original LoZ about halfway until I got bored, and Zelda II is just too hard.

One of my favourite series, I personally favour Majora's Mask, Link's Awakening for there odd and slightly controversial plots. And the two Oracle (Ages and Seasons) for there difficultly.

 

Currently I own nearly all of the games, I only need to accquire Four Swords Adventures and A Link to the Past.

So, does anybody here actually expect a Majora's Mask remake on the 3DS?

Rumor has it that Majora's Mask is getting a 3DS revamp too. And possibly an original Zelda game for the 3DS as well. Looking forward to that.

I own and have played almost all of the Zelda games and have no regrets.

 

It's been my favourite series since I was a little filly ^^!

Is anyone else just hoping for a game with the same graphics as Twilight Princess? (I push for TP hard....) I think enough people liked the unique graphics of that game that they should make something else similar. Ex. if they ever made a remake of Minish Cap or something, do it in those 3D graphics, that would look pretty cool....

I love Zelda, so so much <3

In fact, those were the games that started me into games. I'd play MM and OoT all the time as a kid. I was terrible XD

My favourite is OoT, and I think that while it can be overrated, it's still an excellent game and was beyond its time. Also for nostalgic purposes. I was sooooo scared of Dead Hand and the Redeads

My other favourite is, as with many, Twilight Princess. I LOVED the graphics! The darker feel was perfect. I love Skyward Sword's as well (which I REALLY need to get around to beating! I'm only at the Forest Temple!), but I feel like TP's were just that much better. Plus the repair thing is bad :S XD It bothers me!

MM is amazing too, I don't understand why people get so annoyed by the time travel things. THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE THE SONG!

I could go on and on but those four are amazing.

Ugh... the only Zelda games I've ever beaten all the way through were Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. I could never beat any of the others.

Been playing quite a lot of Skyward Sword lately. With the current experience i have with the game, i can say it's at least top 3 in my LoZ list. The Atmosphere,gameplay and story is great. Risky new features to the game but they handled it quite well. Looking forward to finish it soon. =)

Personally, I absolutely adore Majoras Mask. No one ever seems to see eye to eye on that.
