Lets see here I think my favorite two gaming systems of all time were the

N64 & Sega Dreamcast

I had both systems as a kid and funny thing is I still have both of them and play them from time to time!

Favorite games from the N64

Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Pokemon Stadium Series, Paper Mario, OOT LOZ & MM... Those are just a taste of some of my favorites.

Dreamcast

Soul Caliber, Marvel Vs Capcom 1 & 2, any of the arcade fighters, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Crazy Taxi, Shenmue

Favorite handheld- NDS Lite without a doubt!

So what are your favorite gaming systems :)

The PC, because of mods, the games I like are on here/constantly updated, we've got better Minecraft, we can make a PC ponified.

STEAM! HECK YEAH!

Also, the PC is awesome. Have I mentioned that? Just like Octavia. Awesome.

I'd have to say PC. Best Graphics, best Value for money games (Steam) and I tend to find keyboards a much better input than a large controller. Also, mods can extend the amount of time you play the game by a massive amount.

It also has a great amount of people playing older games. Counter Strike (2000) is still one of the most played games on steam, and I still play Halo: Combat Evolved, which has loads of people still playing it. I find that as a new generation comes along it sorta kicks out all the old good games on consoles, as they have tended to stop featuring backwards compatibility on most consoles today.

I have to agree on PC because it has the best graphics, games and overall better community. However I do have the Xbox360 as a close second because I am a Halo fan.

well the one i have the most respect for is the Sega Dreamcast because this was the starting block for were we are now, this thing allowed online play before anything else, hell this had multiplayer before PC gaming started.

but my fav System would have to be the SNES (reason being well the games are what make a system the that fucker had some legandery games) it would have been the Xbox but damnin it microsoft why you stop making first party games

Tricky. I don't lump PC with consoles cause I like them for different experiences.

SNES I feel is the definitive retro gaming system. Out of modern systems I get the most time out of my XBox 360 because (Don't hate me) I love online broski shooters like Halo and CoD.

PC or GameCube. PC because it has the best graphics, best input (in my opinion), and best value. GameCube because I have so many memories of playing MK:DD!! with my friends.

I built my computer mostly for gaming so I consider it a console in it's own right though it's a little bit out dated now a days. But if I exclude that, I would have to say Xbox 360 if only for the community. Though most aren't nice in the least bit they at least talk which is more than I can say for the PSN or most computer games. Best retro is defiantly SNES. So many fond memories of Mortal Kombat 3 in my preschool

My favorite game console would have to be the Super Nintendo and the Playstation 2. I've never owned a SNES, but I still love the console. Overall I prefer the PC to play games though, it can pretty much do everything a console can, although that depends on the computer itself.

PC gaming master race here. With steam, you can basically get any game you want, and it's way cheaper than spending $60 for a breakable disc, when you can buy the same game for like, $25 and download it anytime you switch computers.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

It would have to be PC. Consoles are just computers with limits. PC has emulators for many consoles and the games are generally better imo.

I'm a Nintendo guy! Love the N64 and also the Gamecube, good times were had on those systems, I remember games such as Super Mario 64, Clayfighter 63 1/3 , Mario Kart 64, Iggy's Reckin' Balls! Those are just a few!

And Super Mario Sunshine for Gamecube, and who could forget Mario Kart Double Dash!

Excluding the PC, I would have to say the classic Xbox, though all the Nintendo consoles are pretty much runners up. You really can't argue with JSRF, Psychonauts, Star Wars Battlefront (+2) and Republic Commando, and there are so many gems on this console I can't name enough of them.

I could answer my favorite 2, which is the Gamecube and Xbos 360. I love the Marvel Superheroes game. Best game EVAR!

I am so used to Xbox controlls, I am going to buy an Xbox 360 controller and hook it up to my mac. So, I can definately understanding why the PC is the best gaming consles

The PS2 was my first videogame console and it's still my favorite console. I think I've played more and better games on newer systems... but the PS2 always gives me fond memories. I'll always consider the PS2 my favorite just because of "Shadow of the Colossus" The first time I played that game it was like a revelation. It taught me that videogames were more than just electronic obstacles... They were experiences. They were an artform. That game was intense yo.

I will have to say the original Xbox. The controller is comfortable to me, and the games I've had on it were some of the best I've played. The good memories I've made playing it are also amazing. The first video game I've ever played was on the Xbox, and I discovered all of my favorite game series on the Xbox as well.

PS2 for me.

It has such a huge library of games for everyone not to mention backwards compatibility for PS1 games.

If you own a PS2 and nothing else youd still have a ton of games to play to this day.

Hmmm. I like the Gamecube. Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metriod Prime, LoZ Windwaker, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, the Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 ports, Spider-Man 2, Mario Kart: Double Dash, etc.

But for whatever reason a lot of people don't like the Gamecube.

Yeah I don't get that either the gamecube had (alot) of very awesome games! I mean a ton... I used to play with my friends on the gamecube! From smashing each other in SSBM to racing on MK:DD! The gamecube ruled! Edited by GoneAirbourne
