Although the 80's wasn't the best decade for me (That would be the 2000's), it's still a pretty great decade for me.

 

The 80's did bring us house music, which I can't nobody mentioned up until this point!

I like this song in particular because of the rebellious attitude it has, and the lightning fast riff

I am completely in love with music from the 80's! 

 

There's this playlist on youtube that I listen to a lot, and almost every song in there, barring one or two I love! It's about two hours long, but well worth the wait! Several I keep humming to myself - Come on Eileen, Tainted Love, 99 Red Balloons, Land of Confusion, Cruel Summer, I Ran, and plenty of others! 

 

But... I just checked - it's gone. Blocked by WMG and SME. 

 

Last thing I knew, there was a site with the list of songs in it, so It might still be possible to watch them in that order.

I was a kid in the 80's; Saturday Morning was our realm, and we were the Kings of Consumerism.  Not everyone wore DEVO hats, but almost everybody had at least one piece of neon-colored clothing.  *chuckle*

 

As far as music goes, the 80's were an era of razzle-dazzle, glitz and glam... and lemme tell you - WHAT A SPECTACLE.

So much good metal's. The 80's were the high point of heavy metal. The New Wave Of British heavy metal reached it's peak. The Sunset's strip's Glam Metal was challenged by Bay Area Thrash Metal for commercial dominance.  It was a good time to be a metal head.
