Crutch 898 August 24, 2012 Share August 24, 2012 I know, Dollywood has ok coasters, but SDC has taken coasters to new levels. I think the only reason Dollywood gets all the press is because it is owned by a famous singer. Probably, and Branson isn't really the best location either (even though it is an entertainment hub). I haven't ridden Wild Eagle yet, or any B&M Wingrider for that manner, so I can't really say much about them. But when I first saw those pics of the over banked turn and the barrel rolls for Outlaw, it was the first time I ever said HOLY SH*T WTF IS THAT about a coaster. I'm in love with it already. The New Texas Giant is one of my favorite rides, so lets see if Outlaw could beat it. I think Rocky Mountain Coasters may have just kicked B&M out of my favorite manufacturer spot. http://www.youtube.com/user/coastercrutchfield

MrFox 44 August 24, 2012 Share August 24, 2012 I really enjoy roller coasters. One of my favorite roller coasters is this bad boy. It's the Desperado, located in Primm, Nevada. It was pretty intense.

I'm not sure it was worth the $30 ride pass (I only got 3 rides on it before it closed due to high wind)... but it was still pretty sweet! I liked the log flume ride there too. Yes, that log flume ride is also awesome. The whole casino is really cool actually. There was a couple of other rides but I can't remember them. 98Twilight523 28 August 24, 2012 Share August 24, 2012 I am a rollercoaster fanatic. I am literally addicted to rollercoasters. My dad works for Disney (Not Disneyland, the Disney Company) so we get to go to Disney parks for free. I have grown up on rollercoasters and whenever we're around a theme park, be it Six Flags or just a little Carnival, we will always go.

I know that feel. I'm so used to these forums that when I'm there I really can't help it, but post ponies. That's one of the reasons this thread was created so we could discuss happenings in a pony filled environment, and then go back to TPR. I am a rollercoaster fanatic. I have grown up on rollercoasters and whenever we're around a theme park, be it Six Flags or just a little Carnival, we will always go. Sounds basically like me. I will ride any roller coaster now, every chance I get, I will get on one. I really enjoy roller coasters. One of my favorite roller coasters is this bad boy. It's the Desperado, located in Primm, Nevada. It was pretty intense. Desperado is an awesome coaster. I love how the entrance is inside a casino. Ahhhhhh our school took a science field trip to Magic Mountain a couple months ago, it was awesome! First roller coaster ride for me there too. Dude... that is awesome. I wish my school would do things like that. Well when I rode it... it almost killed me. It was worst than any Vekoma Boomerang or SLC. It's like if you combined the headbanging of an SLC and the nut squashing of a stand up. Poof! That's what you get in my opinion. I'd like to see if anybody had an enjoyable ride on it. Ahh. Just watched a TV show on the roller coaster King Da Kah or whatever, it looks intense and awesome. Cool! I went on that back in 2008 and I though it was pretty awesome! Here is a pic of me if you want proof (I'm the one in the grey shirt). Though, I hope that they don't use Gerstlauer trains like on the New Texas Giant, those lapbars can be pretty uncomfortable or even painful during extreme moments of airtime since they are not really form fitting to the human legs. Stapling lapbars on the guests doesn't really help either. http://www.youtube.com/user/coastercrutchfield

I agree with the New Texas Giant's lab bars being uncomfortable. I just hope they re-envision the lap bar like their re-envisioning the wooden roller coaster. I still haven't looked into that many details about the ride yet.........Hey, Aug 30th should be a good day since that's when most of the Six Flags parks will release info about 2013 attractions. http://www.youtube.com/user/coastercrutchfield

I guess we will just have to see. I just posted a new youtube video, a walkthrough tour of the Adventuredome in Las Vegas.
