the only bad thing about this is that it doesn't work on the standard IP.Board Theme. but i guess there's nothing that can be done about that.

 

edit: scratch that, i must have had old stuff in my cache that prevented this update. after cleaning it up, it worked properly for me. sorry for the inconvenience if i caused any!

I have an idea! How about a sorting option in that it sorts thing from red hot to frozen. Take out any scrolling at all!

 

And while I admire the effort, is there any way to turn this thing off (just for me). I'm not really looking for activity, you see. If I see a topic I think is interesting, i give my opinion, and be on my way, so the temperature system isn't my thing, and it really doesn't make the forum look any nicer (just my opinion). Of course, I'm not asking you to actually make an option for it to be turned off, for specific members. Just asking if there's an option for it.

The tech-chicken strikes again! Adding another one up on the board of many many reasons why this is the best forum on teh interwebs.

 

This no doubts serves more convenience to the general community, and it is a much-well improvement on the dull only "Hot" tag. Now I can avoid threads where ninja's me hidin'!

It pains me to say but I actuality have a complaint about this.

I noticed for whatever reason the colours have been changed and the and hot is now orange and warm is now a bright yellow. I don't know if it's just my eyes but the problem is that the yellow is just way too bright and it's a struggle to look at it, and I have my monitor set to be fairly dim too. I think it's because of the the white background surrounding it that makes it look brighter.
